What a wonderful place!
- The hosts are very helpful and friendly;
- I got my breakfast according to my special (vegetarian) requests;
- My room had an airco (very nice to have in June in Italy);
- Very clean;
- The bed is comfortable and big, I slept like a baby;
- Wonderful countryside and very quiet.
I really enjoyed my stay at Nonno Peppe.
You need to keep in mind that that is a countryside, so no public transport available. I came by car, so I was well prepared.
There are many nice places close by: the mountains, the sea, those small Italian typical villages and towns, olive gardens and wineries. Beautiful!

This was wonderful. I was cycle touring and on the way up, (actually, up, up and then a bit more up) to Altino was wondering whether this was the best choice of place to stay. When I arrived, was so courteously received, my bike taken care of as if it was a revered steed, well, it is even if I am not, I knew immediately that this was a good choice. Thank you.
There did not seem to be many shops in the town itself, I was disinclined to ride back down the hill just for food, but the range of food provided for, I suppose, breakfast, made me feel bit guilty when eating it for a late supper, but well, I slept well. Thank you.

We totally enjoyed our accommodation because it met and exceeded each of the items in the survey. Everything was top notch. The view of the castle morning, noon, night also provided a wonderful backdrop to our stay. I have pictures taken from just outside the property from my visits in the 1980s when I brought my parents so my Dad could see his Mother's birth record at the Comune.
