A lovely small Italian town which is not tourist orientated. Good selection of local shops and weekly market surrounded by mountains. Such a beautiful location. Beware of mosquitos however - travel prepared

Poppi is a very small town, and incredibly quiet.
Poppi is a very small town, and incredibly quiet. If you like a nice escape to a pretty, quiet, medieval town, then Poppi is fantastic. Great location to visit the National Park, and not too far from Florence and Siena if you wanted to visit these cities but stay more remote.
