If you are afraid to go here because of the price, don't be. We we're able to visit all the perfect beaches and dinner out everyday and didn't pay a fortune. Just avoid the clubes and places near the Marina.

Feels like a fake town built for rich people to park their yachts and Bentleys in, then go shopping for label goods. No cool bars, boutiques, or lively places. Just endless brand stores and restaurants with white tablecloth service. If you're looking for real Sardinia, look elsewhere.

Porto Cervo was very beautiful. we went there end of April and it was a bit too quiet, not all restaurants, clubs etc were open. however we had the beautiful beaches to ourselves and you can still find other things to do ( wine tasting in the vicinity, rent a boat, horse riding etc.

Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda.
Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda. While the jet setter heydays of the 60's to 80's is long past, the town retains its charm with beautiful homes and shops. A visit to the Costa Smeralda in the off season, like we did in September, avoids the mass tourists and overly expensive hotels and restaurants. The beaches are magnificent and the entire area is a feast for the eyes. There is lots to do, scuba diving at Orso Diving in Poltu Quatu, or chartering a boar at Poltu Quatu Charter. A drive to Palau and the ferry to La Magdalena shows you even more of the splendour of this utterly beautiful part of Sardinia. But make no mistake, Sardinia has far, far more to offer than the Costa Smeralda. But it's a great place to begin to discover the magical island that is Sardinia. I've been coming here for almost 40 years and relish every opportunity to enjoy its sunshine and beaches.

Very expensive purpose built resort which was very quiet out of season. Several restaurants/bars/shops were closed but we were aware of this when we booked.
Very pretty setting and a great base for exploring the Costa Smerelda.
The ultimate hotel for a beach vacation: There are 5 wonderful beaches in walking distance, three of them having sand without any pebble stones. Additionally, the pool was really nice (albeit with the water a bit cooler than ideal). The view from our room (side sea view) was superb.
The staff were all extraordinarily friendly and helpful. With a rental car, which is heavily recommended, nearby restaurants, supermarkets and tourist attractions (such as several archeological sites) are easily reachable.
The staff was available and very kind. They gave us a lot of tips on restaurants, beaches, trips. The hotel has also a very nice and quite beach, 1 minute walking. The location is perfect if you want to visit Porto Cervo, Canigionne, Costa Smeralda in general. The apartments are spacious and cleaned every day. Nice garden too. We could also benefit of a late departure (we could have a late shower at 5PM before our leaving to airport). If you want to visit and to go around, you need a car.
The location is exceptional. Right next to a beach, but crucially, 15 meters up, allowing fantastic views over the bay that attracts large yachts by the dozen. Nice pool area. We bought half board because it was virtually free, and it turned out to be a new 4-course menu every day, with very high quality plates (not buffet). Likely the best hotel dinners ever. The rooms are fine, beds comfy, good blinders, and free parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Would go back.
The place is very beautiful. Located at walking distance from the port and main attractions in porto cervo! We had a car and there was a free parking right next to the hotel.
The host is a wonderful person. She was extremely nice and helpful.
The room is big enough for two. We had a balcony as well for those who like to have a relaxing coffee in the morning. The property is super clean, very comfortable with a beautiful design.
I totally recommend!!!!
This is indeed a beautiful house right at Porto Cervo marine. It is the best you can get in a posh Porto Cervo town for the price. The apartment is great for a family of four. Leonardo will make your stay very comfortable. He helped us with finding nice restaurants with reasonable prices and suggested the best beaches of which there are plenty in the area.
Friendly staff, Great Location, Clean Rooms with good air condition and Most of the Rooms has a good view, Its Unique and beautiful Place 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Many Restaurants around the area with a great food.
Also Fiorela from the Conceirge very helpful Person and there is nothing impossible for her, she can get you a reservation anywhere in Sardinia.
The property is just perfect! we loved it so so so much. from location, to size of the apartment, to the astonishing view of the port.
The best of our stay was Massimo, the owner of the property. he has been instrumental in our stay, recommending the best places to go and making our stay, SENSATIONAL.
Location was perfect for us, close to the Porto Cervo city center, where there is plenty of restaurants, where the hotel is located there is also restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies around it. Breakfast was super good, a lot of options and staff was lovely and caring.
The facilities were beautiful, the staff super friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. The location is also very nice, close to Porto Cervo and lots of beaches nearby. Unfortunately the restaurant was already closed due to it being off season.
Great location right in the middle of Costa Smeralda, not far from Porto Cervo. Great facilities including the pool. Got a room upgrade and complimentary access to their beach (which you otherwise have to pay for a bed)by the helpful receptionists.
The location was perfect and very close to porto cervo and polto quatu. The second room they gave to us was very nice, very clean and with seaview. Breakfast was good. The staff helped us to change the first room and to organize a boat trip.
Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu offered a unique stay and experience thanks to its friendly and always helpful staff, clean and inviting facilities, bars and outdoor area. We can definitely recommend it to everyone seeking to relax.
The view and architecture of the hotel are fantastic. We had a pool view room which is absolutely worth it as it also overlooks the village and bay beneath. The staff was also incredibly nice
The room had a nice size. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. But for a 4 star hotel this was waaaay off. It was outdated and not pleasant to look at. Nice breakfast.
The staff was very good, always wanted to help and make our stay the best possible. Excellent breakfast, clean, and very well located. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
stunning location yes it’s 10 mins by taxi to Porto Cervo but it’s so tranquil and relaxing!
Decor in the Hotel was just beautiful the attention to detail was excellent.
Very helpful staff, superb buffet Brekky, extremely clean! Great gym with a reformer machine - I loved!! Good spot surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia.
Well located for a peaceful stay in this highly sought-after location in Sardinia. Spacious, very clean, and comfortable with beautiful views overlooking the harbor.
