There is train Station 15 minutes by that will take you to florence with comfort (free parking at the Station).

Good size room with fantastic bed. There was a closet to keep the luggage which kept the room tidy and clean. The view from the room was nice. There was a metro station right outside hotel to take us to center which was quite helpful. We found the hotel parking (which cannot be pre-booked) which helped not find the parking near by.

The whole place was just beautiful, inside and outside. Beautiful gardens. Nice breakfast.

The location is good. The hotel Demidoff though isnt great as the pictures suggest. The facilities they post and actually those facilities are not provided. Beware Swiming pool is closed.
The good part is the adventure park nearby which is a lot of fun for kids and families.
