Great people, very friendly, historic, traditional, compact town on a hill with good food and facilities. Although we missed the once a year Carnival there were activities all week in the old town which were amazing to experience

Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic towns as Matera, Alberobello and many more. Putignano has great historic centre, many restaurants also with live music. Every Wednesday there is really big market near historic centre with fashion and many more. People here are generally very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps...
Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps its atmosphere. We were lucky to enjoy the festival of San Giovanni , when local people organize a market and a medieval parade in the center. There is a nice square, beautiful churches and good pubs in the town. Not far from the really touristy places, if you want to join the crowds:-).

The place exceeded my expectations. The apartment is in fact really located on a big terrace located betwen buildings. It's very spacious and clean. The terrace part was also very good relax on during warm nights in quiet neighbourhood was a spot-on. The localization was also very good - Putignano is not a big town, so it was easy to reach each place on foot. Very good price. Everything worked in the kitchen, the host even left for us in the fridge not only water, but also juice and even beer. :)

Located in a lovely, authentic building in the old town of Putignano. Breakfast was fantastic with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, cake, fruits and even eggs. Very friendly hosts. Parking was free on the street 4 minutes away on foot. We had a room on the top floor without an elevator but with a balcony so you could relax after a tiring day and look at the roofs of Putignano. The room was very clean. Also, there was a refrigerator in the room.

I booked a room at Santo Stefano to surprise my friends for their wedding. Besides that it has a strategic location for exploring many if the famous gems of Puglia such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Locorotondo and Martina Franka, as my friends later on confirmed, it was sparkling clean, the breakfast was really good, and Putignano itself appeared to also be an interesting and romantic spot to explore. Highly recommended!

Love this spot. The host, Giuseppe, met with us and was very helpful the entire time suggesting places to visit and tasty restaurants. We had a refrigerator, microwave and hot plate which came in very handy. Our room had high, beautiful ceilings and was quite quiet at night. A wonderful location in the old town area of Putignano. Stay here. You will not be disappointed.
