The location is ideal, perched above the Ligurian coast, the views are wonderful and it is very quiet. It is up a steep and winding road, but a free shuttle bus, just about hourly, is very efficient both ways into and from town that makes repeat journeys if necessary. Buffet breakfast is amongst the best I’ve had and the staff are brilliant. Special mention to the lady on duty each night who made our nightly cups of tea when we got back, she was really friendly and immensely helpful, but all the staff we encountered were excellent.

The staff were really friendly and made things really easy by picking us up on arrival in Levanto and again after dinner out. The room was lovely and the bar was well stocked with more food options than we expected. But the highlight by far is the pool and the setting, I can't imagine a nicer place to go for a swim than high in the hills above the sea at sunset! Absolutely stunning.

Beautifully appointed in a very quiet location. The restaurant meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was mainly continental with a huge selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. There was also scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages included in the complimentary breakfast. More than enough food to set you up for the day.
