It is the most efficient and delicious hotel I have been in ! I can't recommend enough the restaurant, it is like being in a Michelin restaurant every evening. The chef is really fantastic and we are both foodie and massively picky. The staff was kind, spoke fluently 3 languages and went above and beyond in terms of help, and could do anything faster to help us out. Definitely a come back place.
Just 5 km from white sandy beaches at Marinella, Borgo Alba Barona Turismo Reale offers a peaceful rural location. All air-conditioned rooms boast a garden-view patio.

Very warm friendly welcome from Francesca and family which continued throughout our stay. Nothing too much trouble.(she’s an amazing lady,so kind and caring)
The property is in such a lovely setting. A view of the sea in the distance. The light changing on the surrounding mountains giving a different ‘painting’ every day.

The little patio at night with entertainment playing is really soothing.

Local train was at the other end of the town
Golfo Aranci is a small town so easy to get around by walking.
Getting to Albia can be done by train however not very frequent
If you want to travel around the area you probably need a car.
Very friendly and welcoming local peop[le.

Golfo Aranci was my favourite town in Sardinia, it is picture perfect, the people and staff at our hotel were so nice & Friendly, the town has a small Train Station and you can reach Olbia in 25 mins via Train. When I return to Sardinia I will stay here again. Lots of water activities available, and boat trips you can take from the port.

Perfect location, being right on the beach and near shops...
Perfect location, being right on the beach and near shops and cafe was great. The late check in charge is a bit unfair as we don't control the times of the fights and potential delays at airport. Being charged a lot extra to leave luggage there was also a bit unfair too especially if no new guests were expected that day.
The beach was gorgeous and the water was superb! Supermarkets are not as cheap as you might expect when overseas. The town is very traditional and beautiful with no high rise buildings and fast food restaurants etc. Most of the tourists are Italian which is great for those who really want to escape from their normal environment.
The locals are very friendly.
Over all a gorgeous quiet location if you want to relax.

A little quiet for us in May.
A little quiet for us in May. We were quite surprised at how out of season it felt during the UK half term. (End May / early June). Lots of places closed or in the process of being done up for the summer season.

The location was absolutely beautiful.!
The location was absolutely beautiful.!
There were some issues with the bathroom that were never addressed. The reception was aware and made a call to the owners but nothing was ever done within the 10 days we were there.

Very friendly to English tourists.
Very friendly to English tourists. Got treated very differently to local italians which was very disappointing. Very very expensive taxis (not sure if it was just because we were tourists) and no public transport so be careful on the location of your hotel or where you are staying. Also restaurants close or stop serving food 4-7pm.
This was my favorite place to stay in Sardinia. Our generous and friendly host, Francesca, was wonderful. She served a delicious breakfast on the terrasse with a magnificient view of the ocean and mountains. This hidden gem sits in the countryside and is accessible by car. Beautiful beaches on Costa Esmeralda are about 30 mns drive. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in one evening and our fantastic host served a charcuterie board and sardinian delicacies on the terrasse at sunset. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We were warmly welcomed by Maxime and Anna. The room is very new and modern (furniture, bathroom, air conditioner).
The size of the room is quite big so we had no problems with two big luggages (which is not so usual in Sardinia). The bed was very comfortable. The room looks exactly pretty as it is mentioned on the pictures. We had a great view to the sea. The beach can be reached within a 5 minutes walk. Thank you for the pleasent stay. We highly recommend this accommodation.
We had an amazing time at hotel la Lampara. The staff is extremely nice and gave us many good recommendations for restaurants in the area. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds, airconditioning and a fan. The rooms were cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach and to the port where all the restaurants are. All in all we enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their vacation in Golfo Aranci.
We loved the room decoration, fantastic! and from the window we could see the beach. The staff is very friendly, we could borrow a parasol and a chair to bring to the beach. Thanks to these, we could stay and enjoy longer the lovely beach in front of the hotel. We could also get our breakfast to go since we had an early flight.
There are several nice restaurants at walking distance.
We only stayed 1 night but will come back to this hotel for sure!
We had a delightful stay at this hotel, appreciating the meticulous attention to detail in the beautiful decoration throughout the establishment. The ambiance was cozy and clean, and our room offered a spectacular view of the ocean. On a positive note, our room was tidied daily, although towel replacements were inconsistent. The picturesque location added to the overall appeal of the stay.
The location is lovely, really convenient base to explore the North of Sardinia. The pool and gardens are fantastic and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy them both. Angelha was an incredible host and went above and beyond to help us with local recommendations and flexibility on our booking. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchenette had everything you’d need!
If you want to stay in Golfo Aranci, Maria’s place is a good alternative. As a host, Maria is easy to communicate. Check-in was smooth. Be aware that you need to pay extra if you want to check-in out of written check-in hours(early or late). The house was clean. There were more than enough facilities(washing machine + dryer). We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed every second we stayed in this B&B. We had several hotels on this trip but this was absolutely the best. We loved the breakfast which Ornella made for us every morning.
Ornella and her husband make this special place even better.
Thank you so much for having us and thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.
The hotel staff were excellent, as was the location and amenities. We had an excellent stay and would recommend the Hotel Marana to others. It was close to the beach, the food was good and the room was comfortable.
The staff and owners could not have been more wonders. The breakfast was superb! Location was a one minute walk to a beautiful beach with a bar . The town was incredible! We will be back.
Roz and Robert .
Super location of the hotel, very close to the beach and a short walk to a selection of nice restaurants and gelato stores. The room matched the description and had the comforts for a good night sleep.
Traditional Sardinian vintage design, good location, clean beach, heated swimming pool, SPA service, restaurant service ( if not too busy, otherwise may take ages to get your omlette).
Beautiful location in the mountains near some nice beaches. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast which was included was excellent. Very peaceful surroundings.
