We chose this hotel mainly because of its convenient location - very easy to walk to and from the train station as well as explore the historical city center. Breakfast was adequate, our room was spacious, clean and quiet! Bed very comfortable.

Good size rooms. Warm, clean, but not the newest room finishing. Very nice breakfast in a modern interior. Lot of food to choose from. (still no tomato which is surprising in Italy) Free underground parking. Close to the airport.

One review area is not enough to describe our situation thus I occupy both.
PART 1.
We booked and initially got a Superior Double room (No. 234), according to the Booking.com description at least 23 sq m. Immediately after checking in we found that the room is not soundproof (the noise from the road below is very loud!) and thus it will be difficult to sleep there. We complained, and staff replaced the room for quieter one (faced to the courtyard) that was Deluxe Double room (No. 423). For that they requested extra 15 eur for the "upgrade". After some discussion they cancelled this extra fee notifying us that if we want to stay the rest 3 nights in this Deluxe room 423 we have to pay extra 15 eur/night. Other alternative: we can move to another quiet (we thought it will be Superior too!) room and not to pay extra. We chosen this 2nd alternative.
However, the replacement "Superior" room (No. 221) turned out to be much smaller (intentionally measured with a measurement line living area was only 14 sq m vs declared on Booking.com 23 sq m in the initial "noisy" Superior room 234!), with smaller bed that makes more tricky to sleep for us two parents and our 8-yr old kid in the same bed. This room 221 also had only 1 chair (for 3 people!)! I tried to discuss the return of the difference in price for this downgrade at the reception but they refused to do that because they claim this new room 221 is Superior too but we suspect they are telling not truth because this room is very much like smaller Classic room with a lower rate.
