The silence and tranquility only broken by the birds singing in the morning, and the cicadas in the hot afternoons. Great swimming pool, with perfect lawn. Roberta and family are excellent hosts, very friendly and generous -- they let us try their wine and olive oil. The location is perfect for reaching other sites nearby like Torniella or Montemassi.

Valdonica is a beautiful place to stay and explore the Tuscan valleys and cities. Breakfast with very vast offer of hand made pastries, Italian focchachia and cold cuts. Confiture and honey in more than ten sorts.
Very friendly and warm service team. We were invited to the end of harvest party for a little amount and were able participated in a great fest we will never forget.
Additionally there was free recharge for water and coffee in the cantina, an amazing wine tasting and a little welcome present for us.
Last but not least, from every place at Valdonica there was a phenomenal view over the vinyards and Tuscan landscape.
La Melosa is absolutely wonderful - there is so much peace and quiet you can find there for a real rest. The breakfast was amazing, the hotel restaurant was also great if you don't feel like driving anywhere to go to dinner.
The room was so cozy, and the small private garden to it was wonderful to have a glass of wine while enjoying the song of the crickets - pretty much the only noise you can hear around.
Absolutely recommend it!
the location is far away so there is no car and city noise. The pool and view are beautiful. It was pleasant to lie on the sun loungers by the pool and accompanied by pleasant music. The design of the rooms and the hotel is nice. The breakfast was fine and we didn't eat dinner but there is a nice looking restaurant for dinner if you need to.
La Melosa is a delightful, charming hotel situated in the glorious Tuscan countryside. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Our room was well appointed and cool with a very comfortable, large double bed. The pool was perfect and all the meals that we ate were delicious including a very generous breakfast.
Very nice stay in the countryside. A few minutes drive from the village Roccastrada. The room was clean and cozy, with mini fridge and AC. The owners were nice and their service was impeccable. We had a very good pizza in the adjacent restaurant. Great value for money. A good experience.
The most beautifully kept, eloquent and comfortable hotel. The staff coundnt have done more to help, the rooms were clean and designed wonderfully. 100% would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
