It’s was so cosy and friendly when we arrived in pouring rain and cloud. A lovely fire, warm welcome and great food. Our room was newly refurbished with a comfy bed. We had a delicious breakfast and fantastic spa the next morning during a thunderstorm, but what a place to stay!!

Palazzo Restifa is particularly well-updated and beautifully restored grand home with a terrazza-with-a-view. Its manager is a most pleasant, attentive and helpful woman-of-the-house, which enhanced our stay. Montalbano Elicona is picturesque... "una dei piu belli borghi". Located right on the main piazza, restaurants and other needs are right at hand. It is obviously a cherished and historic town for those able to be gainfully employed there.

The apartment is just by the centre- very comfortable and appreciated the coffee making machine in the morning. The breakfast prepared by Marta was fantastic and there was a warm welcome from all the family (really enjoyed discussing cycling with Stefano too - and thanks for the chocolates- they helped on our journey!). Randazzo itself is a fantastic town and well worth visiting
