This apartment was nice and clean, with all the amenities needed, and a large bedroom. There is a small balcony with a view of the mountains, as well as lots of nice walking paths in the area to explore. Our host Alex was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

The whole Orobie Bergamasche is a pleasant low/pre-alpine region, which seems to be a favoured recreational area for people from the Bergamo area. I would not rate it as a destination for foreign tourists seeking an alpine experience - it's good for a couple of days if you are in the area, but not in the same category as the Adamello or Brenta. Roncobello has one pizzeria/trattoria, which was actually pretty good, but there is not much else going on.
