Located in a very idyllic Sudtirolian village, with a backdrop peaceful green plains and impressive mountains. Very elaborate and tasty breakfast and well prepared regional food for dinner. San Cassiano is the best ski area in the Sella Ronda area - sunny all day, great pistes, empty lifts. If you want to go to Marmolada, you can go directly from San Cassiano to Arabba (without Corvara - saving time). Another nearby area I recommend is Alta Badia and Colfosco (no super ski pass required). If you go to Sella Ronda, I recommend visiting Pass Pordoi (2950m) - comparable views as from Marmolada, no queues, few people.

The Alta Badia area is in my opinion the most stunning place i have ever skied. It is not good for experts but if you are like me and been skiing for 40 years then perfectly prepared long blue runs are ideal .The Hidden Valley run is a must do - the only problem there is having to stop and take your gloves off every couple of minutes to take a photo as every corner gives you a new stunning view.

    Nothing of historical architectural merit.

Nothing of historical architectural merit. Nice position overlooking the valley and mountain tops. Artificially created expensive holiday village that was a little clinical if not completely charmless. Nothing old, natural or of local character here but OK for a touring base for those without budget concerns.

This is a luxurious property where all big and little things have thought throught to please the guests. The hotel itself and key facilities (spa, swimming pools, relaxing areas, etc...) are simply astonishing: beautifully decorated in the local style but modern enough to be super comfortable for today's guests. Food is excellent: breakfast, afternoon merenda and dinners were always enjoyable and very creative. We had an excellent stay! And San Cassiano is a real gem in one of the most beautiful mountains in the world!!

Very friendly and helpful staff . Gave a lot of tips for our trip . Great breakfast, lots of fresh fruits. Convenient location to the gondola (5 minutes easy walk through the scenic town, even quicker without skis, a lot of people were just walking around the town to take in the views. (We left our skis at the ski service at the bottom of the gondola to get waxed so we won’t have to carry them back and forth, lots of ski rentals too at the bottom of gondola)

The location is superb as it is equidistant from the walking street and ski lift in this lovely village in this most beautiful ski area in the world. 3 minute walk to a ski hire shop and 1 more minute to the lift-heaven ! Good restaurant/pizzeria literally opposite the apartment. Parking on site in an underground garage with lift access to the room. The host Anna Marie is a gem, extremely helpful before and during our trip giving excellent detailed advice .

So far it’s the best hotel we’ve ever been to. The view is just amazing, it’s just like you’re looking at a picture. The area is very quiet and nice with shops and restaurants within 5 minutes driving. The staff were very nice to us and provided us with recommendations for activities in the area. The breakfast was very good with many options of fresh and tasty food. The hotel is also very clean and the furniture is new.

Right next to the pedestrian area of San Cassiano in close proximity to the cable car. Rooms were clean and cosy - rustic but modern and well equipped. Staff were attentive and very friendly. The SPA was wonderful too, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi were in top condition. Breakfast with a great selection of fruits, cheeses, meat, fish, and a variety of bread and home made pastries. We loved our stay and will come again…

A very cozy little hotel, very close to gondola. The room was spacious, we had a balcony with beutiful views to the town and the mountains. Staff was excelent, really friendly. The hotel is easy to reach and has plenty of parking. There is a very convenient ski storage and boot driers on the ground floor, so you don't have to take anything upstairs. Breakfast wast nice, not too much variety, but enough for a week.

We had most wonderful time at Casa Antersies. Ivica and his wife were amazing hosts and we got 5 star hotel experience. Gibanica and home made rakija after long day at skiing were hard to beat even with all good food in Alta Badia. We cant recommend place enough and we will for sure come back. Cleanliness of property was impeccable and ski transfer worked great even on peak days around NY.

Room was spotless and well designed. All elements of the room worked properly. Drying rack on my balcony was a nice touch. My room was spacious and quiet as well. They'd even turned off the bell on the elevator, which was outside my door. So it never disturbed my sleep. The family running the hotel works very hard. Breakfast was fantastic.

Very cosy bed and breakfast type of pension, with clean and spacious rooms, nice staff. We went during summer to do some hikes in the area, and while the hotel and a couple of restaurants were open, you could tell that the city is alive during winter. For reference, Lago Braies is a 1:30 drive, Lago Sorapis trail 1:00 drive.

Great place to stay in Dolomites. It is traditional Alpine hotel at 1700m above sea level surrounded by alpine passes well above 2000m. It was shoulder season so the front desk staff was there only until 5PM. But they called us and explained how to get in so there was no problem arriving later in the evening.

We needed a place for one night in San Cassiano and Ada was ideal. Room size was excellent and the bathrooms were grand. There's no breakfast but it's very close to the town's bakery so this wasn't an issue at all. The person on reception was superb and couldn't have been more helpful.
