The apartment has 3 rooms with an amazing shared courtyard and kitchen-dining space. We had a comfortable room with a private bathroom located in the hallway. Location is excellent to go around Salento with free parking nearby. The host was a lovely lady.

The apartment we stayed was in a 16th century monastery, was spacious, had great facilities and was overall beautiful. The property manager Lucia was lovely and we were brought fresh pastries every morning at 8am.

The room had everything we needed and was super clean. Every morning fresh pastries were brought by Andrea for breakfast. Room was cleaned daily and fridge refilled with milk, water, butter, juice and lots more. Coffee machine with frother and milk warmer were available. Andrea was always available to help.

Very clean! Hosts were wonderful. Put out a beautiful breakfast each morning. Snacks and coffee available through out the day. In 6 weeks of travel in Italy the best b and b we stayed at.

San Cesario has 'small town life' and there isn't a whole...
San Cesario has 'small town life' and there isn't a whole lot of stuff to do in this particular town, except a few coffee shops, restaurants and walking around.
The last train to Lecce is 9pm every night and the last train back is similar time. There isn't any Ubers and the taxis all come from Lecce so if you don't have a mode of transport out you are kind of stuck.
It is a beautiful town though and worth checking out. For our holiday in particular, we had a car and it was a fantastic base.

San Cesario di Lecce is probably not the first port of call...
San Cesario di Lecce is probably not the first port of call that the traveller to Puglia might call to mind, but as is so often found along the Road Less Travelled it reveals itself as a little gem. As a working town and off the tourist route, the old centre of San Cesario di Lecce remains mostly ungentrified and the older buildings are all architectural treasures. The visitor should look out for the antique wrought-iron streetlights adorning the walls of the older parts of the town. The people we met were friendly with lots of “buongiornos’ offered as we strolled about. There is a Penny’s supermarket about seven minutes’ walk away well stocked and full of nice things at good prices, some of the staff do speak English and were very helpful. The other reason that we chose San Cesario di Lecce is its transport links, the town is well connected by bus, road and rail services with Lecce and the rest of Salento and Puglia. In fact, nowhere in Salento is more than 30 minutes away by car from San Cesario. On our first day we drove into Lecce the journey took about eight minutes and parking was simplicity itself using our iPhone parking App. We would heartily recommend this B&B, in fact this is more than just a bed and breakfast, it is a welcoming home from home where an English family may feel comfortable and well catered for.

Very nice farmhouse just outside San Cesario di Lecce (but still within walking distance). Very hospitable and helpful host. Nice spacious room/apartment with air-conditioning, 3 beds, bathroom and private terrace. Private parking in front the apartments. Great opportunity to have a wonderful dinner at the poolside restaurant of Lu Casale. The restaurant is very well known and reputable to the local Italians. Overall: excellent value for money.
Excellent host, very generous and helpful.
The room is very well looked after with an outside private sitting area. Air conditioned with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
Location right in the centre of San Cesario di Lecce which is less than 10 minutes drive to the centre of Lecce.
Great breakfast at a nearby caffetteria.
