This place is beyond words. Our trip to Tuscany was absolutely the highlight of our vacation and it was just thanks to Il Miraggio. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff was friendly and helpful. We were welcomed in the lounge with Prosecco and some snacks while they were busy taking our bags to the room. They did a custom wine tasting for us, booked our spa sessions and also booked our wine tour to one of the new local wineries. The room we booked had an amazing shower and bath. I would really recommend booking here if you ever travel to Tuscany

Lovely quaint town and not too touristy. A good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to Pienza and Montepulciano. Town has a small park that is nice to walk around. There are also free parking lots which makes parking very easy.

This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there.
This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there. It’s a charming small town in a gorgeous setting. Each June, they celebrate the Festival of Barbarossa and dramatize historic events from the 12th century. Elisa is a super host. Breakfast was great! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, hot croissants, eggs, cheeses, prosciutto, much more than a continental breakfast! The rooms are wonderful! Bed, shower, bedding! She also cooked us dinner one night and it was the best dinner in the region. We will be back!

The location in San Quirico d'Orcia is wonderful, both because it is walkable to the old town, and because it is walkable to some lovely trails that connect San Quirico to Bagno Vignoni. The breakfast is pretty good, and includes some fruit, hard-boiled eggs ,and a pastry or two. A coffee machine in the breakfast area produces acceptable cappucinos and other coffees.
