Was a great place for a stop over on our road trip. Owner was super nice and welcomed us with a big smile. We have 3 kids and she was straight away giving them some toys to play and even got us some fresh eggs from her chickens so we could cook for breakfast :D The room was perfect for us, with enough beds for the 5 of us and all super clean. Breakfast was simple but had all the we needed. Overall it was a simple but perfect stop for us. Would easily stay again and would also reccommend it.

Saronno is right in the middle between Milan and Malpensa...
Saronno is right in the middle between Milan and Malpensa Airport and Lake Como. Train services is very good. Area is safe. Plently of grocery shops to choose. Please bring any Identification (passport/drivers license)with you when you all the time.One time on our way home from Milan Cardona, the police checked our ID inside the train.The train is for Malpensa airport that stops in Saronno,maybe thats why police are checking ID to all passengers.

Saronno seems to be a suburb of Milan. Has a nice city/village center with some shops, bars and restaurants. Good to have a pleasant drink while thinking what to have for diner. Have not see/find any extraordinary architecture or interesting sightseeing objects.

Beautiful town, good restaurants and amazing churches. The Santuario is worth a visit! The town is just 15 min drive from Milan. Good outlets for those who love shopping. Good connection to major cities in Northern Italy. The Railway station is well served for trains to/from Milan and Malpensa.

We stayed in Gerenzano which is on the outskirt of Saronno. I should have taken more notice when booking as the location wasn't good. Saronno itself was lovely and the trains were great, English speaking ticket office, good connection to Malpensa airport and other places.

From como you go to san giovanni station which is 1 km away you can go lugano,it takes 34minutes from ther to arrive.also you can go different distination like interlaken and zurich.
