I personally find this hotel very charming. In Italian "Liberty" style (what is called Art Nouveau/Jugendstil/Modernismo in the rest of Europe) the hotel has indeed kept its architectural features and although some people might think it would need some renovation I think it's perfect the way it is. So nice to spot old heaters with incorporated bread oven or the small food elevator in the breakfast room :). Both the lady and the guy who run the hotel are extremely kind and welcoming. Room was spot-clean and although weather had started to be quite warm outside I could enjoy a cool room. I booked a single room with a single bed and the bidet was incorporated in the wc, which was very practical. I usually have sweet breakfast and was able to find everything I like, especially whole grain baguette. Very fresh, bought every morning from a bakery for sure :). Location is perfect. You can reach everything on foot from there.

A 20-minute drive from both Montecarlo and Sanremo, Sole Mare is a 3-star seafront hotel in Ventimiglia, renovated in 2020.

Very nice location overlooking the new marina, on the sea-front, in a very quiet location Rooms and hotel have been renovated since my last visit pre-covid - it was always well finished, but now it's really great Nice buffet breakfast with good choice. Staff was great ,helpful and tried to meet all my needs. Rich Breakfast - lovely local focaccia , nice cakes and scrumbled eggs- location cozy close to the beach and not far from the old town,very easy to reach and there’s free parking which is ( TRUST ME) just treasure gold in Sanremo . The Lady at the reception was just awesome to me!
