Great pool but no chance of having a proper apero with finger food. With little effort the hotel could be much better, if only the management had some interest in providing some basic services

But it’s also super comfy, with a cosy heated bathroom and quilts on the bed; tea and coffee making facilities; fast WiFi; easy parking; next to all amenities. Host Matilde is super friendly and offers a delicious breakfast with multiple options including eggs, pancakes, local cheese and ham, homemade cake. It was easily the best breakfast of our trip! The rooms are small but efficient and incredibly clean. The small staff (husband and wife?) is accommodating. The only issue was they put us in a room with non-working A/C, though when we pointed it out they did offer to change our room. In any event the weather was cool that night. About a 10 minute walk into the old town and a 1 minute walk to a children’s playground. Parking was free along the road too. The host was so friendly and professional. Despite the language barrier was eager to make sure we had a great experience. Our breakfast table was waiting for us in the morning - and the service and food was excellent!HannahGroup

It feels like you're staying in someone's home, and Angela is a very welcoming host. She doesn't speak much English (we're Americans) but she is perfectly comfortable with things like Google translate.
