Hotel location is excellent for skiing - it is directly across from Dantercepies, one of the main lifts that can get you to Sella Ronda. Or you can ski downhill to access Ciampinoi. The hotel room was very nice. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. While the room had a lovely "Tyrolean" feel, the rest of the hotel did not. Felt more like a basic, chain hotel. The staff was a mix. There was one gentleman who was excellent - made us feel welcome and was very helpful with information. The rest of the staff were cold and unhelpful. You felt as if you were imposing on them or bothering them if you asked a question. The restaurant was OK. Breakfast was good with the highlight being the juicing machine.

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of town for any requirements. Very clean throughout whole premises. Good sized room with comfortable bed & very warm. Bar/restaurant provided good meals & our host was excellent - always smiling & friendly, providing excellent service. Extremely happy with our stay here & after spending 2 nights in Cortina D'Ampezzo, thought that this hotel & the city itself were far better as a location on the Dolomites

While Ortesie is slightly larger town, Selva is higher elevation and more quaint alpine village, and better lift access. Busses are free, frequent, and electronic displays accurately show next bus, so visiting Ortesie for dinner or to explore or ski is easy. While we liked Ortesie, I would stay in Selva de Gardena the next time.

Information on the website about the village amenity was...
Information on the website about the village amenity was very poor. I would have liked more information about the public transport options, timetables etc. Information about the taxi to the horses was out of date and it cost a lot more than it said on the website. The lack of a bus link to other villages was a real drawback for me. And the cost of taxis was exorbitant.
Also information about the grocery shops. The shops were very small and expensive.
Although our accommodation was excellent I wouldn’t recommend this area again.

A perfect base to go on hikes.
A perfect base to go on hikes. There are so many hiking trails to choose from and plenty cable cars that will take you to the start of the trails. Very lively without being overly crowded with many restaurants, bars and shops so it's convenient. Great mobility, the public transport is well connected so we don't have to use the cars all the time.

This place is perfect. It is super clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good. And the family which owns it is just the nicest. We had a very late check in (despite the fact that the usual check in hours are only till 10pm) and the owner personally met us in front of the hotel and helped to carry the suit case to the 3rd flor. Every one else who we interacted with were super nice and helpful, very pleasant people. Location is also hard to beat - ski lifts, hikes, restaurants - everything is close by.
The hotel was definitely the best part of a great skiing trip. The suite was spacious, we enjoyed the private sauna in the balcony every day. Getting into a hot steamy sauna after a day of skiing and watching the snow tractors leaving to fix the slopes while the last late skiers are rushing back home, enjoying the view in the balcony with a glass of beer - that is a feeling second to none.
Hotel is well located, close to the center, right besides a blue slope that leads to/fom Campinoi cable car.
Hotel is very stylish, with attention to little details. Room is quite spacious, well decorated, nice couch, balcony. There is a kettle and a minibar in the room. Also the room has the bathtub, really nice
Spa is great, especially after the slopes.
Breakfast is good, everything you need is there. Pastries are a highlight.
Comfy beds and pillows, good sleep.
Location is great, several ski lifts are nearby.
Also hotel has a ski room, nice to have.
Coffee in the hotel bar was quite good
the hotel is on the main street of the town, about 7 minutes walk (adult pace:)) from the Ciampioni car lift. there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes from the hotel to the lifts (9:00 - 12:00).
the room is cosy, beds and linen are excellent, personnel is above excpectations, cuisine is very-very good. there is a hotel parking just in front of the door. it's small, but we had luck
The best hotel we stayed in the Dolomites. We closed 3 days and decided to stay another night because our experience was good. The rooms are clean, new and beautiful, delicious breakfast. But the best thing is the owner of the hotel. who really got into our hearts, every morning he helped us plan a hike that suits us and thanks to him we had 4 amazing days there! highly recommend!
Dinner at hotel Pozzamanigoni was outstanding. We ate extremely well. Each dinner consisted of a four-course meal plus extensive salad bar plus cheeses.
The breakfast buffet was very good, as well.
Our waiters were very kind and welcoming.
The location next to the Saslong (red) ski slope was very convenient to start the day without having to walk to a ski lift.
very central to shops and pistes. lovely hotel with very friendly staff, great restaurants (3), extremely friendly and welcoming staff (Abou Bhakar, Giuseppe stand out but all the breakfast staff, the Steak Stube staff, the receptionists) and a highlight - the pool and sauna/steam room facilities - welcome relaxation after a rigorous day’s skiing.
really liked this hotel. had preivously skied in the arlberg and stayed at a wonderful hotel there twice so was nervous going into it but botique hotel nives surpassed expectations. really liked it and the staff was lovely, breakfast plentiful, and common spaces of the hotel were clean and comfortable.
An incredibly welcoming hotel. Lovely staff who just made things happen e.g. with booking a last minute ski lesson. Great spread for breakfast and afternoon tea. A really convenient location for skiing both sides of the valley. A genuine ski in ski out location accessed directly from the boot room.
Small pansion, clean and cosy. Perfect for this money.
Location was great - nearest ski lift is about 50 meters from the front door. The supermarket and a few good restaurants are accessible in 3-5 minutes by feet. The down-town of Val Gardena with bars and shops is about 7-10 min walking.
Absolut perfect location for Ski & all other occasions, right next to the slopes. very comfortable and big rooms with balcony. Big garage.
Try the restaurant! It’s one of the best.
nice to see the owner and the whole family working in the Hotel themself. Very friendly stuff.
Very quiet location up the mountain from the more energetic town of Selva di Val Gardena. We thoroughly enjoyed the additional space and quiet of the mountain location and enjoyed the ease in getting into any of the nearby towns when needed.
The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and well decorated. You can see how careful the owners are with the place, they are always present. The breakfast is very complete and delicious. Good location.
excellent connected rooms at the end of the floor. spacious rooms. great manager who helped us with ski passes and ski-injured family member. Definitely recommend this hotel.
This was our favorite stay in all of Italy. Stay here simply for the experience! Beautiful host, beautiful property and beautiful breakfast. Can’t write enough good things.
