The location was excellent, in the very center and close to the train station. It is a lovely stay for a couple of days and everything you need is very close - restaurants, cafes, gardens, etc. Even though it's located in the center it is very quiet. The host is lovely and careful.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, B&B Il Giardino offers accommodation in Tivoli, 600 metres from Villa d'Este. The rooms are fitted with a flat screen TV.

The hotel is located in a quiet place within a few minutes' walk to a bus stop (connexions to Rome or Adrian's Villa) and 10-15 minutes walk to major tourist attractions in Tivoli (Villa d'Este etc). The room and bathroom are large and nicely decorated, the bed is very confortable. We heard no no traffic noise (noisy neighbours in the corridor could be a problem as anywhere). The owner and the personnel are nice and efficient, e.g. they provided additional dishes for breakfast, let us store luggage on the day of departure, gave useful adivice. I do not think there's a better hotel nearby in this price range.
Featuring an indoor swimming pool, Residenze Gregoriane offers luxury suites decorated in a classic style. Located along the river, these suites provide a central but quiet location in Tivoli.

It’s like becoming the Lord of the Manor in every way. The suites are amazing, the staff incredible - Giovanni helped with our luggage after we parked in the secure car park. The position is right on the edge of town so everything is walkable with ease. Lots of lovely eating places and then the sights - Villa Gregoriana & Villa D’este are both just around the corner and Villa Adriana 20 mins away by car and all amazing. Good walking shoes/boots needed and a good level of fitness for Gregoriana but WOW! The underground whirlpool and piscina were fab - what a treat having them to ourselves after booking.
Offering free WiFi and a furnished terrace, La Mensa Ponderaria is located in the historical centre of Tivoli. Villa d'Este is just 300 metres away. Air-conditioning is featured at this property.

Fantastic spot!! Really great location. Tivoli isn't too big, but this apartment is both right in town but quiet, too. The roof terrace was SO pretty!
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Next Stop 28 offers pet-friendly accommodation in Tivoli. Free private parking is available on site. Each room has a private bathroom.
Great access to town and countryside. Tivoli has lots of character and amazing views, plenty of places to eat and shop, and to immerse yourself in true Italian culture.
I'd recommend the Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa), both of which can be done in one day, although allow more time for the latter, and bring a packed lunch as there are no catering facilities.

Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome. If you are looking for old character, charm, and beautiful gardens, you have found your spot. Food was great at all locations. I would recommend spending a lot of time Villa di Este.

The park of Villa Gregoriana has stunning views of the waterfalls and is a must natural attraction when visiting Tivoli.
Villa D'Este is a magnificent example of the Italia Villas of the Renaissance, with its beautiful gardens and many fountains.
These two locations and the overall historical city area are easily reachable all within walking distance. The historic downtown also offer many eating alternatives.
Villa Adriana is one of the most majestic archeological sites of the Roman Empire, truly impressive in its scale and content.
Plan for a three nights stay in order to have two full days to visit the city.

Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome.
Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome. Fly into Ciampino. Public transport and parking is good. Prepare to walk up hill on occasions in town. Villa d'este well worth a visit BUT beware of payment on entry. (See Tip) Driving can be either exciting or challenging. Make sure if you go on the toll roads you understand how they work and how to pay. Local food is really reasonably priced if you choose well. "Botega del Grano" is an excellent choice in Tivoli.

Tivoli is a great location especially if you have previously visited Rome. It is much cheaper than Rome for food and drink and the quality of food is very good. For example we visited a restaurant in Rome for lunch - a restaurant we had previously visited - cost for lunchtime pasta for four with four beers and two Aperol Spritz 107 Euro's. Night time meal in Tivoli at a restaurant specializing in food from Tuscany for starters, meat main courses, six beers and 4 Aperol Spritz cost 117 Euro's.
Tivoli offers easy access to Rome via Train. To be honest having visited Rome before was disappointed with how expensive it has become, entry to alot of the venue's had massively increased in price and hour long queues. Also found the city very dirty.

If you like quaint rustic italy, this is for you, gorgeous scenery, lots to do but do homework first as if you do not have a car, the public transport needed a recky first. Not all cafes open on a Monday, but when they are the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Taverna de Dracula is a must fir romanian cuisine
Tivoli Casa Belvedere has very good location. It is in old historical part of city, close to train station, bus station,
tourist attractions, pubs and restaurants also trails to the surrounding hills from where you can observe whole Tivoli. Our apartment was very pleasant and clean place. And what is also very important - owner was really nice and helpful woman. Because of some circumstances there was any problem with leaving our luggage in Casa after check out time.
The central position in the old city centre; being hosted in a Renessaince building preserving the original marble stairs (even if they show evident signs of time). The mirror was embedded in what it must have been an authentic marble door frame. The studio offered all the modern comforts, including the luxurious feather mattress and a glorious view of the bustling Tivoli vecchia. Closeness to public transports and to the Unesco World Heritage Site - Villa D'Este.
The apartment is a gem, beautifully decorated in the heart of the old town . Fully functional kitchen. Bathroom equivalent to a 4star hotel. The bed is extremely comfortable. A very friendly host and helpful. Just 400m to city centre via old town coble stone street. Parking possible in paid station at 600m in city centre approx 12euros (16hours). I highly recommend it and definitely book it again on our futur visit in Tivoli.
This property was great; the owner has furnished the apartment with everything a guest could possible need. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was very well furnished with dishes, pots and pans, coffee and tea makers, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas cooktop. The apartment was very clean and had nice linens, and there was even a clothes washer. I would ONLY stay here if I visit Tivoli again.
The Hotel itself was clean and comfortable but the restaurant was such a disappointment. There was a buffet available but unfortunately everything was either cold or lukewarm. I ordered from a menu accessed from my mobile but that was also lukewarm by the time it arrived. The weather was very cold for Italy and something hot would have been appreciated. Even the coffee from the machine was cold.
This extremely comfortable hotel is situated in very pleasant, quiet gardens, and very easy to find. It is walking distance to Villa Adriana and a short drive into Tivoli.
The food and service in the restaurant are excellent, and we enjoyed talking with the staff. There was no need to go elsewhere.
This is a calm oasis in Tivoli. We will return.
Carla was a wonderful host! We really enjoyed her and her extended family. They made our stay very pleasurable. Location was excellent for Hadrian's Villa and easy to actually drive into Tivoli in 15 mins from location. Lovely area and the family animals were a real plus! A really good restaurant very close too.
The apartment was lovely although a bit small. Very well decorated with all the amenities available. Host was very nice and helpful to find our way. Situated in a great area on a quaint street close to the river and many restaurants. Tivoli is a great place to spend a few days. Love it
Absolutely lovely stay in Tivoli. Delicious breakfast and helpful staff go above and beyond. Super quiet residential area but plenty to do including shopping, eating and Villa de’este a short walk away. Nearby bus stop takes you to Rome or walk to train station for commuter train.
Tivoli could not have a better B& B then Regina B&B centrally located in an historical centre, the host Filippo could not do more from advise to arranging tours to dinner reservations I walk away with cherished memories that other wise would not have occurred
Everything, the old, gorgeous, stunning building the B&B was housed in. The unique finishes, the fresh look of my room engaged with the old structure. Simply amazing architectural features. Loved, loved the experience along with beautiful Tivoli.
The location is lovely in glorious countryside but close to Tivoli and Rome. Breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant were both excellent. Fabulous facilities for families with children in the summer months but great for a quieter Autumn break.
Great location in this authentic apartment in beautiful Tivoli . Paola and Andrea fabulous hosts with lots of tips on the area and excellent knowledge of eateries .
Very clean apartment and very comfy place to stay .
This a beautiful hotel and was fully staffed with an excellent restaurant. The breakfast was superb and included in the price. Everyone in the hotel and restaurant provided excellent service.
The view was amazing the city was wonderful the host gracious. If you are near Tivoli you need to stay there. It is outstanding breakfast was very good just amazing
