Vasto is not too big and not too small.
Vasto is not too big and not too small.
A large number of good restaurants.
And not too far for wineries or trabocchi.
After a month of visiting very small old towns in Puglia, we were happy that Vasto had more to offer.

I loved this Hotel!
I loved this Hotel! The staff were helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with a balcony and bathroom. The room serviced daily and the breakfast had many choices and was great. Across the road a small church with a rest area, views over the coast and ocean.
A short stroll to the park, a delightful walk by the children's play area and the pond, a small Cafe and fountain, cross the road and you are in the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and a history dating back before Greek settlement. I recommend this Hotel for travelers to Vasti.

When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale.
When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale. It is absolutely amazing, just a short drive from Vasto city center. The property is right on the Adriatic, with both a terrace and balcony overlooking beautiful landscaping and with steps down to the shore. The hosts are very welcoming, and, boy, did they put out a spread for breakfast! And, unlike much of Italy, they actually have secured parking for a large vehicle. Highly recommended.

Go for the beaches and nature area!
Go for the beaches and nature area! There’s quite a few paved and off road trails for biking and walking. The natural reserve at Punta Aderci is gorgeous but there’s also several small beaches just north of the historic Centre of Vasto. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of more well known beach cities, without sacrificing any of the beauty or Italian experience. Definitely recommend renting bikes for a day or two!

Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings.
Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings. The modern fusions with the tradition just in perfectly harmony. People is kind and beaches are to die for.
Hanging around the Piazza makes you feel like a character from Fellini's film, isn't easy to get around Vasto, but believe me when I say the magic from the place worth's to be experienced.

Vasto offers wonderful fine dining experiences that are a must-go places such as Bottega Culinaria, CiboMatto, La spasetta e molti altri. Greatest sea on the east coast of Italy facing Greece, a place to relax and enjoy life to its best.
Pro's: The apartment was very clean, & quite spacious. Handy having 2 toilets with sinks, upstairs & down. Nice terrace for sitting outside, off the 3rd floor bedroom.
Large refrigerator & excellent room a/c on the first 2 floors. Beds were quite comfortable. Owner was very responsive, & helpful if contacted.
The location was good for getting on a bus, to go to the bus or train depot or the Marina, etc: about a 6-8 minute walk; also near center of old Vasto.
All in all, a nice place to stay!
The breakfast was lovely with fresh baked delicious pastries and cakes. Focaccia sandwiches, you hurt and fruit, coffee and tea. It’s a walk down to the beach as this place is up on the hill. There is a city buses (#1,4&8 bus)and drop you off in the centre near the hotel. Gorgeous views! You are in the heart of the centre at night with shops, music and restaurants. Rino was a good host who communicated well.
Baia Delphis was a wonderful surprise for us. We made a last-minute decision to stay there and could not have been more pleased - with the location, the staff, the service and the overall delightful atmosphere. We were even able to take bikes directly from the hotel. Especially good value slightly after high season ended.
Breakfast was phenomenal! Anita went above and beyond making sure we always had everything we needed, from restaurant reservations, to navigating the area. We are so lucky to have discovered Vasto and Palazzo Florio. Vasto is a gem of a town and Palazzo Florio is an absolutely lovely place to stay while discovering it.
The staff was outstanding. This is a real gem of a hotel. The outside seating was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in Italy. The breakfast was very good. The room was neat and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It has a good shower. I will stay here whenever I am in the area.a
I came alone to Vasto and I definitely chose the right place. Thanks for the feeling of security and pleasure. All recommendations, I will be happy to return. And not to forget the wonderful lady who is the owner, who gave me all the information I needed and was friendly. ❤️
Absolutely everything! It should be the benchmark for all boutique hotels. Real though had gone into the design and operation of the property. The hosts - Anita and Umberto - should run classes for aspiring hoteliers. They have perfected running a truly remarkable property.
Beautiful views, exceptionally clean, and friendly staff. The rooms are decorated with legitimate antiques from the host’s family, including the closets, nightstands, desks, etc. It feels like you are truly in a small, rustic Italian house on the coast, back in the day.
Really nice B&B close to the Center of Vasto city! The house is cosy with all you need to spend some relaxing days. The Rooftop terrazza is amazing. In the morning you can enjoy the sunrise while in the evening the sunset colors over the sea are wonderful.
Great parking right outside the room. Nice clean room & very friendly host.
Property is located just outside Vasto, between the town and the sea about 15 mins walk uphill to the town or downhill to the sea. For us, the location was perfect.
fabulous location on a small bay with crystal clear waters. No restaurant in the evenings meant we had to travel to eat but there were good restaurants nearby and the hotel's beach bar made decent panini for lunch. We loved our stay
All was perfect and exceptional! Unfortunately the good restaurant was closed due to low season, but that's life!
Do not trust poor reviews of this hotel, it's a very nice one, believe a 48hotel-per-year-traveller like me
The property is very unique, clean and cozy. It’s very close to all the Restaurants Coffee shops and Bella Vista. Breakfast was amazing and stuff very helpful!!!
Recommend 100% best place in Vasto ❤️
