The staff is super friendly, the hotel is a lovely structure, with beautiful views and common spaces. Breakfast is very rich and amazing quality, ad well as the food in the restaurant. Easy, free and comfortable parking is provided by the hotel, which is necessary in this area. Entry to a lovely beach and wellness centre is included. We only stayed 1 night because we had other plans, but we would have loved to stay much longer.

I follow this hotel on Instagram and really the pictures do not do it justice. The location is superb. Being right on the sea, falling asleep to the sound of the waves was really magical and I have never slept so well.
The staff were friendly and really looked after us too.

Great location right near the train for the train in from Naples or a day trip to Sorrento! Beautiful views from the balconies/outdoor areas, clear rooms, really helpful and friendly staff and great access to a small, quiet beach! A short walk from the main square passing lots of lovely restaurants on the way, you’re not far from anything!

Vico Equense is a small but lively town, very easily walkable, and with great connections to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and more by train or taxi. We especially liked that it was not as crowded as other towns near the Amalfi Coast, yet has many opportunities to walk and see the surrounding area. We stayed at the Cubo Apartments, near the town center and loved it. We found some delightful walking paths, both down to the beach area and into the olive groves on the outskirts of town, as well as being able to walk the streets. We visited a number of restaurants, including La Salumaria, a great place for local beer, excellent appetizers and full meals, just off the town square. Gabrielle's is a popular walk-in place for sweets, sandwiches and gelatos, with excellent variety and service - a local favorite! A hidden jewel is the Museum of Minerology, also near the town center and with easy access. We spent several fascinating hours there, and were treated like special guests! We would go back to Vico Equense in a heartbeat!

Vico Equense is a charming town reaching from the coast up into the hills. It has plenty of restaurants ( a pizza restaurant which serves metre long pizzas )and stores and the best gelato place! The train will take you anywhere or take a bus but for sure wander the quaint streets and alleyways. Easy to fall in love with Vico.

Vico Equense is a charming little town with not too many tourists - at least not when we were there in April. The people were generally friendly and could speak english. It is a short 10 minute train trip from Vico Equense to Sorrento and about half an hour to Pompei.

Vico Equense is a small quiet town that is full of friendly and kind locals. Me and my family were so pleased that we picked Vico Equense over Sorrento for our stay. You will like Vico Equense if you like having a morning run up to the hill or down to the beach. We were so lucky that we could join the triennial Good Friday Procession at Vico Equense, it was just an amazing experience. If you like gelato (who doesn't!?), do try the brioche con gelato at Gelateria Gabrielle, it is so nice and you can choose two flavours! For restaurants, we love eating at Ristorante al buco; we went there twice during our one-week stay! Vico Equense is just a beautiful place, it doesn't take you long to get to the busy Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples Central. So yes, for us, just perfect!

Use local bus services and trains, cheap and reliable. Roads are choc-a-bloc!
Fab port, hire a boat to take you around the coast of Sorrento and Almalfi or take a ferry. It’s a great place and a lot quieter than Sorrento etc.

Vico Equense was the perfect launch point to see other places on the Amalfi Coast. The city itself is small, but has numerous restaurants, a beautiful beach and a lovely viewpoint and likely other attractions that I did not encounter. I chose this destination as I sought an affordable apartment with a kitchen for our stay. I love eating out while traveling, but I also greatly enjoy the food markets and being able to purchase local food and wine and enjoying it with a view - especially at the end of long day of sightseeing. Vico Equense is definitely a walking city. It is also incredibly easy to catch the train and/or bus to get to other sites. I would definitely stay here again.
I’m so glad we stayed here, it was absolutely amazing, the rooms are massive and the place is so spacious and clean, we had everything we needed and more, my daughter loved playing outside and the view is just breathtaking. The owner is so welcoming and friendly and for anything he was only a massage away. Thank you so much and as we go to Italy a lot to visit family we will be staying with you again. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Grazie mille ancora, Giovanni e famiglia
The apartments are just amazing, clean and comfortable with air conditioning. We chose apartments with a sea view and were satisfied with it.
The location is very convenient with in a few minutes walk from a cozy Vico Equense city centre. The train station is just in front of the house from where you can reach Sorrento in just 10min or Pompeii about 20min from Vico.
Rosaria was very helpful with recommendations and you just need to listen to her and take her advices😉
Full disclosure, we didn't stay at the Villa Scaramellino because the owners offered an upgrade to its sister hotel - Domo 20, which we accepted. Domo 20 is a lovely hotel, the staff are without fail helpful, friendly, and speak excellent English.
The breakfast is lovely - plentiful and varied, and the view from the rooftop cocktail bar is sensational. Domo 20 is just a 5-10 minute walk into Vico Equense's town centre.
All was exceptional! Run by a very welcoming family, great hospitality, very clean and neat environment with outstanding breakfast in a fairytale style restaurant. They are very passionate about what they do. We highly recommend Villa Ketty to couples and groups who would love to experience a romantic stay wth delicate touch on everything you would expect from a boutique hotel in beautiful Italy!
Vico Equense is located in the middle between visiting Napoli and Pompei and on the other side all the Amalfi coast.
The hosts, Maria and Pepe are wonderful people, and very helpful. They gave us recommendations for restaurants at Sorento and in Vico Equense (Mustaffa, was delicious) and even booked for us.
Pepe is a great chef and makes the most delicious Corneto for breakfast.
This hotel was great to explore nearby areas. We stayed for two nights. The location was right beside the train station so very convenient to get to Sorrento to take the ferry to the Amalfi coast.
The staff was friendly, the room as clean and the breakfast was good. We tried the restaurant for dinner and it was great. We drove to the hotel and there was parking in the back.
Beautiful location and scenery overlooking Vesuvius and Bay of Naples, very peaceful, would have loved a few more days to relax...but seeing Italy by train. My son loved having the pool to himself in the morning..lovely cakes and croissant for breakfast, and cappuccino delicious. Also thank you to the staff who picked us up and dropped off at Train as no car or buses to location.
First what You see when you doing your first step to this place - how much work and love hosts put in it. Clean, comfortable, with unreal view from terrace, where every morning you have tasty breakfast. We arrived after long journey in Italy, and stopped in different B&B, but this was the BEST! We really be happy to stay longer! Grazie mille! It is more then 10!
Very clean, big apartement with big fridge and well equipped kitchen. Never been in such clean and well equipped apaprtement in Italy, however we are there almost every year. Nice balcony with chais and table. Big bathroom with large shower cabin. Many coffe shop and stores nearby. 10 mins walk from the train line between Naples to Sorrento.
We had an amazing stay at Villa Ketty. The whole familie is lovely and very friendly. The environment is beautiful with a stunning sunset. Antonio gave us a lot of recommendations for day trips, which were very nice! Last but not least the breakfast, just perfect and overwhelming! Vila Ketty is definitely one of the best places in Italy!
Caterina and the staff are just amazing people. She was always there to help us and she made sure we had the best stay possible. The breakfast has everything you can dream of (and more). In summary it was one of the highlights from our vacation in Italy!
Thank you Caterina for the amazing stay 🥰
The cat called Petra is also very cute!
The location was brillIant- lovely views and very close to the town and harbour. There is a food store within walking distance from the villa. Amazing host- very helpful and provided great instructions on how to get to the villa as we have never driven in Italy before! We would definitely stay again! 😁
I loved that is was at a great location, easy to get to the best restaurants, gelateria, train station and beaches.
The host is lovely and had a list of activities, tours and places for us to visit, which helped us a lot! I strongly recommend it and can’t wait to go back to Vico Equense!
Perfect location with absolutely amazing views. Very clean, organized and welcoming with many new amenities. Wonderful, friendly host who made sure I had what I needed. Only a few minutes walk to the train station and you can get anywhere in Italy.
A nice hotel with a good location and a very beautiful view. Breakfast is OK and as expected. During the evening you can have a good and nice view. There is a free parking and WI-FI
Everything went well, above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend this hotel. The views were breathtaking. Convenient if doing the Amalfi drive.
