Very impressive castle to visit, the opening times were longer than our book said apparently. Could do with signs telling which is which inside. Nice also to have a look around town and grab a schwarma from one of the little stands near the fruit/veg markets and sweet from the nice bakery.

If You ever come to Kerakas, please go to Cairwan palace.
If You ever come to Kerakas, please go to Cairwan palace. We met the most amazing guide there, the palace had to work only from 9 o'clock on Friday, but we came there earlier and.....the guide helped us. He showed us everything though his English language was not so good, but he could explained us everything. We spend the most brilliant hours there:)
Very unique hotel - it's a bit like the domes in Wadi Rum, but sits just below Kerak Castle! Really well thought out design - lots of space to sit on the veranda, and inside, there are spare phone chargers, wifi, some free drink/chocolate etc in the fridge. Very well equipped. Breakfast was substantial and provided very early for us so we could get off to Wadi Mujib the next morning. Owner was wonderful. Couldn't do enough for us to make us feel welcome. Astounding views of Kerak Castle.
We had a lovely time at this quaint little hotel situation right under Karak Castle, 10 minutes by car. The staff were amazing and Micheal was available around the clock and helped us arrange a tour of some places of interest for us. They arranged a more continental type breakfast for us as we are not a fan of the cheese and bread breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble to arrange or a silly question. I would recommend whole heartedly.
This is amazing panoramic location perched over the wadi with terraced patios. Jamal is an excellent and attentive host. If you are like us and love things authentically rustic and traditional then you will love this place. We ate around the fire and Ruth wore Jamal's camel for gown. Truly magical. If you are passing down near Karak, make sure you come here. V quiet and big family or group rooms.
the room is clean and lovely
it’s so close to castle and restaurant.
you can see the boys playing football at courtyard

he show the best place to see sunset in Karak

he is helpful to help me arrange a taxi from wadi mujib to karak and pick me to the bus station for next morning
the rooftop is so nice
Pleasant, helpful, and efficient staff members! Thank you to everyone we encountered! Convenient location in Karak and its Castle. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking for a vehicle is available. Breakfast and dinner are available upon request; and, the cost was reasonable. If you are staying in Karak for the night, then you should consider this hotel.
Soon after we entered our room, the host brought us homemade tea and ice cold soft drink. We did not expect from a two star hotel. It melted our hearts. room was spacious and very clean. our apartment had a private kitchen with pots and utensil, a private bathroom with shower. shop and restaurant in the same building. we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Karam is an expectational host! Great hospitality, cozy apparent and friendly atmosphere realy made me feel like home, even if so far from it. Karam walk me through the city and showed/recommended me places I'd hardly find myself.
