Our stay at Wadi Rum Star Wars Camp overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and hospitable, the food was amazing and our room was spacious. The jeep safari, camel ride and stargazing that they offer were so nice. They made sure to make us feel at home, and we truly regret not having stayed longer than 2 nights.

Wadi Rum, Jordan, lacks public transport. The primary mode of travel is via 4x4 vehicles, camels or on foot. Local Bedouin guides offer 4x4 tours, camel rides, and guided hikes. Hiring a bicycle is not common. Driving is possible, but a 4x4 is recommended due to the sandy terrain. Always hire a local guide for safety and navigation.
I would recommend relying on asking the camp staff questions...
I would recommend relying on asking the camp staff questions about what to do, or information about history, culture, food and geography in Wadi Rum. They know best about everything and are really trustworthy people. Be friendly with the other campers, it is amazing to see who all visits Wadi Rum. I would say to trust the locals there, and you will have an amazing time. Definitely take your time looking at the stars.

Hiking and taking a Jeep Tour around Wadi Rum are amazing...
Hiking and taking a Jeep Tour around Wadi Rum are amazing experiences. My favorite part is the different colors of the sand and the bridge. However, as there's no fixed trail for the jeep, the sands are full of wheel marks, which kind of ruin the whole view of the desert. Overall, it is so beautiful; it feels like being on another planet.

For those who like silence, privacy and are happy to let go off their screentime this place is just right. If you decide to take your car, an SUV would be ideal on the sandy/rocky surface. There are some do-able hikes even with kids. The place looks like a totally different planet with unique rock formations and red sand till as far as you can see. Star gazing is magical as there isnt much light around.....!

Everyone tries to get out a hell of a business of the guided tours, the kids and youngsters treat animals (especially dogs) very bad, it gave an impression, that you need to know yourself how long you can make the best out of it.

Fascinating place, so beautiful and peaceful, but also a lot...
Fascinating place, so beautiful and peaceful, but also a lot of plastic litter everywhere and a surprising amount of traffic (tourists doing jeep rides).
Imagining that people have lived and thrived here for millennia without electricity is humbling.
First I stayed for one night in the camp, but the jeep Tour and the Tour to watch the sunset in the desert were so great, that I had to come back for a second night during my stay in jordan. Salem, made fresh Tea on a fire place, while watching the sunset. I really enjoyed my stay in the camp, everyone is really nice snd care about the guests! It was possible to sleep under the stars, when the weather is good. The tents are also very good and have plenty of space. The food is great, thanks to a great cook! :)
I will definitely come back :)
Hussein was a wonderful host and Jihad a wonderful guide. Upon arrival Hussein asked what we wanted to do while we were there and made sure we could do everything. Stargazing, a sunrise camel tour, a Jeep tour through Wadi Rum and wonderful Bedouin lunches, dinners and coffee-making by the camp fire. The desert in Wadi Rum is something different altogether. We felt so peaceful there, all stress just dissapears. It's a very different (and more magical) experience than the desert of Wadi Musa in my opinion.
Authentic Bedouin camp great experience Cleanliness is better than a five star hotel Dinner is very tasty We chose an amazing 5 hour tour that exceeded our expectations The owner is very polite, kind and honest The best person I have met in Jordan A person who bowed to him in respect We sat around the fire and talked to us about Bedouin life and I enjoyed talking to him Thank you my friend for everything I will definitely come back here every time I visit Jordan and I recommend him without hesitation.💕
Staying at Stardust camp was the highlight of my trip to Jordan. Majed (owner) and his brother were extremely friendly and provided us with a very wholesome, authentic experience in Wadi Rum. From a tasty local Jordinian dinner, to a 4x4 tour in the desert, star gazing, to playing games at night drinking tea, you will never run out of activities. Extremely peaceful place that will clear your mind - plus a cozy tent with beautiful fabric and very very clean bathroom.
10/10 would recommend :)
This experience at Desert Magic Camp was worth it the whole holiday in Jordan. For me and my group of friends was the best part of our holiday in Jordan. If we would know in advance we would spend more than a night in this incredible place. The location is unique, the staff is professional, kind and available for any request. The tents are spacious and clean and well decorated. The jeep tour was wonderful. We highly recommend this place for your holiday in Wadi Rum.
– The stay at Wadi Rum Caeser camp was probably the highlight of our Jordan trip! We were really well looked after and were also delighted to have a room upgrade to one with a private bathroom as well as an amazing desert view! (Would really recommend everyone to book a "tent" with a view) !!! Watching camels walk outside your window is a pretty cool sight! :). The food was nice, our jeep tours very very good as well as the 1 hour camel ride. (Will never forget).

Three days in Wadi Rum were definitelly the best part of our Jordan trip. Wadi Rum is unbeliavable magical place with many interesting places to see, desert cruising with a jeep is a amazing adventure. Our guide was friendly guy and he liked to joke so the day was full of fun. Nights in a bedouin camp with stars overhead, when the nature went to sleep and there was complete silence all around was the unforgettable moment for the rest of our lives. David and Nikol.
Whether it’s is your first time to Wadi Rum or you’ve been coming for years, Rum Jordan Camp will exceed your expectations! The best part is the hospitality and service from its tour guides and owner, who’ve lived near Wadi Rum for generations.
The Jeep tour is enlightening and vast landscapes awe-inspiring. Lastly, let’s not forget the authentic Jordanian meals freshly prepared daily. Thanks again and I look forward to coming back!
Best experience we had in Jordan. The camp is small and placed in a beautiful corner of the Wadi Rum desert. The size of the camp gives you an intimate feeling and Rashid and Sabah made sure we had an amazing time. We took a full day jeep tour and saw all the main highlights of the desert. Campfires at night when the weather is good, and drinking tea and playing games when a sandstorm hits. It felt like home!
We had the best guide in wadi rum Ahmed. His brothers and he are running an amazing place. The camp is far from others which gives you the real desert experience. Ahmed went all out of the typical tour to really explain and show us things about the desert and Bedouin customs. We travelled all around Jordan and of all trips being there was the best of all. I hope I can come back one day :-)
We had the best guide in wadi rum Aied. His brothers and he are running an amazing place. The camp is far from others which gives you the real desert experience. We had the most amazing time exploring the desert with bader - during the day we were out exploring in the 4x4, had an amazing lunch cooked on the fire in a secluded spot within Wadi Rum. We also stayed overnight as part of the ‘Under The Stars’ experience which was the highlight of our tour & one of the best moments on our whole trip in Israel & Jordan - definitely not to be missed!!
Best place to stay in Wadi Rum, if you are looking for an amazing experience in the desert in a beautiful and comfortable camp with delicious food, go for it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, you will feel instantly at home. Also the place is perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunset at the end of the day. I would definitely come back
I had the best time at Desert Dream Camp with my wife of two years. Jordan was our first international trip since we got married (due to COVID) and hands down, our stay at Desert Dream Camp was the highlight of our stay in the country. I definitely recommend others to enjoy the top-notch hospitality and friendliness on offer here!
The Bedouin Camp is an excellent place to stay in Wadi Rum. This was our second time visiting Wadi rum and it was our favorite stay. Mohamed and everyone who works there are wonderful. We had a great time on a jeep tour in the white desert and hanging out with other guests around the campfire.
This was so far best experience in Jordan for us. We booked whole day jeep tour with them it was super amazing to get to know wadi rum desert. They prepared lunch dinner and breakfast for us and everything was delicious with specific atmosphere. I can only recommend this camp
Mohamad was very friendly and welcoming! He explained with much detail what activities we can do and assisted us with everything and made us feel like family! The dinner was one of the best we had in Jordan! The camp offered us a true wadi rum desert experience!
The Wadi Rum camp and overnight stay were above and above our expectations. An incredible experience was created by the stunning desert scenery, friendly service, delectable traditional cuisine, and cozy lodging.
It was a unforgettable experience in Wadi Rum with Mohammed . If you are in Jordan don't miss a chance to stay in Wadi Rum as it is something so unique that you'll not find anywhere else.
