Very nice and clean ryokan in a quiet neighbourhood. An extra bonus is that we got the place to ourselves as there were no other guests. The host provided eggs, sausages and bread for our DIY breakfast.

Very tastefully renovated Great use of space, we enjoyed it in the winter but imagined would be even nicer in the summer We were looking for a place to chill and cook away from the city during our tour and it was the perfect place! During new years many shops/restaurants were closed but we were just happy to relax so it was fine for our purpose. We did not check out any nearby attractions or towns so cannot comment on that. We appreciated the details like very nice Bluetooth speaker, super comfy bed, big rubbish bin and double layer toilet papers…

For non- Japanese this was a great Ryokan experience.

For non- Japanese this was a great Ryokan experience. The japanese style room had an onsen bath and sauna with full private bathroom. The large room had views over the garden and a stream running through it. Whilst at dinner the futon beds were laid out ready for our return. The included dinner and breakfast were superb with multiple courses of all things japanese. Not cheap but well worth the experience. Note that our sat-nav took us very close, but the hotel itself still needed a bit of finding as down a small road near the car park.
