The location, free breakfast with various choices, and all day free coffee were greatly appreciated. Our rooms were very standard for a Japanese hotel but pretty clean and comfortable as well.

The room was superb with lots of charm. The restaurant was closed when I arrived, but the receptionist prepared me a fine nasi goreng!
So overall a great stay.

We spent one night in the traditional Japanese style room as a family of four including a toddler and a baby and we had a fantastic time. We loved the view from our window and we enjoyed experiencing sleeping on the futon beds. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They let us check in slightly early, provided a baby futon for free, helped us order food in the evening and clarified cultural questions we had. There are common kitchens with microwave and stove and we rented kitchen equipment for free from the reception. Also there's a supermarket in the basement with an adjacent eating area for hotel guests only which was very convenient for us.
It was overall very comfortable and the highlight of our Japan travel so far and for a very good price. We highly recommend staying here to any other family and wish to come back some time.
