The Pool Resort OKINAWA, hotel in Gimbaru

Set in Onna, 800 metres from Kibougaoka Beach, The Pool Resort OKINAWA offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

I stayed at this place twice during my trip to Okinawa, both in a poolside apparently as in a separate condo. The condo is definitely better as the poolside rooms have very thin walls. The condo also had its own private washer and dryer. The staff was so incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate me in every way. We will definitely be back!

The Busena Terrace, hotel in Gimbaru

Situated on the Cape Busena in Nago, The Busena Terrace boasts a private beach area, a year-round indoor swimming pool, 2 seasonal outdoor swimming pools and water sports facilities.

Ample choice of restaurants to meet all kinds of food experience, the fish restaurant being one of the best. Several activities on offer at different levels , you never get boring walking trough the resort. The sandy and clean beach was easily acceptable and very tidy every day. Before sleeping, the beds were prepared together with a brief on next days weather and a small chocolate completed the experience;-)

B&BTandem, hotel in Gimbaru

Situated in Ginoza, 1.8 km from Hippie Beach, B&BTandem features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Had a temporary stay for two nights to visit the northern part of Okinawa, was quite a good option to stay. Had a day trip to Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island, and another day to Cape Hedo and Daisekirinzan. The price is reasonable with the basic amenities and facilities, which is a good option if you are having a short stay. but would be better if they can provide meals during the day time (as far as I know they did before, may be stopped due to COVID period), which could save us some time to look for places to eat elsewhere.
