The hotel was right next to a traffic junction with a decent amount of human traffic in the area even late at night. This made me feel safe as a solo female traveller. The staff were also very friendly despite me not being able to speak japanese, they were willing and quick to help using whatever english they knew to communicate with me. The room size was just nice and amenities were good for the price of my stay!

This is a comfortable hotel with larger than normal rooms, good beds and pillows, amazing staff, and a bath tub you can actually extend your legs in. A big thank you to May at the front desk, who was wonderfully helpful with finding us everything we needed during our stay. Her warmth and good humor made us feel at home. The location is an easy walk from Hakata Station on smooth (luggage wheel friendly) streets and a couple blocks from great coffee. Oh, and the selection of art books in the lobby are a great way to spend a some time waiting for taxis, spouses and or children.

Cheap and easy hotel, we stayed for one night before getting the ferry from Fukuoka. Clean and comfortable bed, kettle and cups in the room. Lots of free items available at reception (tea, coffee, toothbrush, razor, moisturizer, slippers etc)

Japanese breakfast was good although the restaurant is small. I like the service at reception, so willing to assist with luggage store. The location was excellent, it was really close to the Hakata JR station and close to many convenience stores. Rooms are clean and toiletries supplied are of good quality.
