Location is the best with train and bus station around. KIRARI sushi next to the hotel is excellent!!
The staff helped me with an extra charger for the night. Also one international plug socket in the room was crucial. No other hotel during my Japan trip had that. Much needed for my laptop.

Kanazawa is a beautiful city. The castle and park are wonderful especially with the Sakura in bloom. It is easy and cheap to get around and the food choices are excellent. We particularly enjoyed the cocktail bar Furansu - exceptional cocktails

Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto.
Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto. While Kyoto was crowded and set-up to process lots and lots of people, here it was so different. The cherry blossom festival in the park was full of people, but it wasn't heaving, like so much of Kyoto, and it was mostly Japanese people. There's so much to see and do here! People were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The castle area is beautiful, especially at night. The various Chaya areas were pleasant too. We rented kimonos and went for a rickshaw tour around Kanazawa, which was a highlight of the whole trip.

We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
Taking time to enjoy beautiful parks during cherry blossoms.
Parks looked like from the postcard, presenting top level of Japanese garden art. Including windy paths, streams, small bridges, bonzai trees. Elaborated to every detail.
City walls impressed me, and at well preserved samurai district we could find out how the life looked like 300-400 years ago.
If I will have more time, I will spend couple days more here.

If you love to go to traditional food markets, this is the hotel to book. You just have to cross the street to go to the market and you can practically eat all your meals there and the price is so reasonable. Caveat here, if you eat at the stalls, you will have to eat standing up in front of the stall but it is great that you can move from stall to stall to taste different foods. However, there are also restaurants inside.

Kanazawa is a great place to visit and to have as a central point to head out to other places. From Kanazawa we went out to Kurobe Gorge which is such beautiful country side. Hotel Intergate staff we excellent. Pretty much anything you needed, they would tend to. If going back to Kanazawa, I would stay here again.

I travelled into Kanazawa on the Thunderbird Express train.
I travelled into Kanazawa on the Thunderbird Express train. The station is modern and attractive and a short walk from all the main attractions. There is the Omicho market, geisha and samurai districts, a 400 year old castle and a modern art museum. Places to eat were plentiful and catered for all tastes. The two main attractions for me were walks along the river which flows through the town and the stunning Kenrokuen gardens.
Everywhere was within easy walking distance and the people were so friendly and welcoming. My lack of Japanese was never a problem.
A nice and large hotel pretty close to the Kanazawa train station. To reach the hotel you need to walk about 5 minutes from the JR train station in Kanazawa.
The room we were in was quite large compared to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in our trip to Japan.
The staff was very kind and even helped us ship our luggage to the next destination.
The room was large, clean and included everything we needed.
In addition, the staff provided us with a small present because we were celebrating our honeymoon :)
This hotel was lovely and so comfortable! The staff were very welcoming and made me feel right at home. They were very helpful with questions and recommendations and went out of their way to accommodate me. Drinks from the cafe were delicious and a nice touch to enjoy in room. The room was very clean and well decorated. Excellent value. My favorite hotel in Japan :) thank you Pacific Kanazawa for such a nice stay! Would love to stay again.
This hotel is really new, the design is really chic. The location is perfect, you can walk out from Kanazawa station into the hotel without getting wet even if it's raining, super near to the station. Breakfast is okay, i consider it good, just that the previous few days I stay in Ryokan with really great breakfast thus in comparison the breakfast here is just good. Ameties in the room is great! and the staff can speak english really well.
Loved the novelty of the dinosaurs at check in, and the human staff were also very helpful! Room was fairly large, and the bed was longer than other doubles we've had in Japan which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel itself is really well-located along a few major bus routes from the train station, and a short walk away from some of the main Kanazawa tourist attractions. We couldn't have asked for more!
The room was very spacious and the conditions were immaculate. My wife and I both agreed that the shower and bathtub were the best bathing experiences ever. Even better than trips to Sonoma spa resorts back home in California. The two bedroom set up was perfect for our family with two college age kids with us. I’d go back to Kanazawa just for this hotel room.
The breakfast was delicious. A Japanese buffet breakfast was provided and there was a range of foods to please everyone. I really enjoyed using the onsen after a day of sightseeing. It was very clean and very relaxing. The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance of the major sites in Kanazawa, as well as restaurants and shops.
The staff and the owner were so welcoming and helped us with any requests we had. They even offer free Udon in the evening which we unfortunately couldn't taste... The room was really spacious for Japanese standard. Otherwise, the hotel is really well located, close to the main station but also to the main attractions in Kanazawa.
Almost brand new hotel, very modern but also keeping a Japanese character. Great amenities, nice onsen, perfect location, walking distance to many attractions and to the main station. Very friendly and supportive personnel. And the restaurant - just wow. If I come back to Kanazawa, I will stay in this hotel again for sure.
Beautiful hotel. Tastefully decorated. It was our favourite stay while in Japan. The staff were so lovely. Breakfast was traditional and kept us going for our mornings out walking and sightseeing. The tea and coffee station in the reception area was fabulous. There was nothing we didn't like about Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi!
Another hotel that provides space enough to unpack without having to use the corridor.
Comfortable beds, a shower that belongs in a sci-fi film. Once you've got the knack, it's like being in a car wash but without the under seal wax option.
Good location for the magnificent Kanazawa Castle and other sites.
Bit of a walk from Kanazawa station but good middle ground between the station and the city‘s main sights.
Very new hotel, lovely room with enough space (by Japanese hotel standards).
Great breakfast buffet!
Overall really good, in particular for the price! Would absolutely stay here again.
Kanazawa is an incredible place to be, and frankly I couldn't think of any better hotel to stay at, what an experience, fantastic staff, great location, great food......you MUST upgrade to the "lounge" level. We ate there every night, no need to go out, the food was that good!
good price good location 600m from Kanazawa st by walk, room spacious high floor good view city and Japs Alps
5 star hotel (I think) staff nice take us tonthe room with luggage and accept free luggage storage while we go to Shirakawago
Great location, close to everything kanazawa has to offer. This hotel is a blend of a sleek hotel and authentic ryokan tradition, so no shoes in the hotel, etc. Our room was pretty reasonably sized for japan standards, quiet and cool.
Lovely little hotel/hostel in Kanazawa. The staff, including Nina were so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the private room and it was very comfortable. Great air conditioning to save you from Japan’s summer heat.
Absolutely loved the public bath. Very relaxing after long days of walking. This hotel was at the heat of everything and I did not have to travel far to get to all the hot spots of Kanazawa.
The hotel was more comfy for a budget hotel than I expected. The natural hot spring was amazing, and the hotel is also just a few-minute walk from Kanazawa Station.
