Exceptionally good check-in experience: stepped forward to welcome us, spoke excellent English, handed us a dossier of nearby restaurants which included a map showing the convenience store option too. Room beautiful, very comfy and spacious. Bus stop opposite hotel is an easy ride back to Amanohashidate; hotel gave us timetable for this. (Note: cash only for this bus, not IC card.)

We primarily booked there for the amazing breakfast and hot spa. One of the best breakfasts in Kansai. The afternoon and evening free refreshments was an unexpected bonus. It is a quiet location, only ten minutes drive to the town center.nice views, and beaches nearby..great place for both families and couples.
We didn’t eat diner there (next time), but every single diner guest we saw looked very satisfied.
Nice big room. Can’t wait to visit in summer when the outside pool is open!

Even though the single room was with shared toilet, there was a sink in the room, which was convenient for brushing teeth and washing the face. The shared toilets were clean. For people too shy to use the public bath at the hotel next door, there is a shower room at the first floor next to the washing machines.
Boasting hot-spring baths with restorative waters from 1500 metres below, Taikyorou is only a 5-minute walk from the famous Amanohashidate Land Bridge.
Built over 100 years ago, Sakara Miyazu is a holiday home fully renovated in 2017. It has a shared lounge and offers free WiFi throughout the property.

Historical building near Amanohashidate and Ine. This is a very old building with all the pros and cons that comes with it. The staff was welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience the onsen but it looked welcoming. The room was massive and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The museum part was very interesting.
Just a 5-minute walk from Amanohashidate Station, traditional-style spa hotel Monjusou offers Japanese rooms and canal views. The hotel features natural hot-spring baths and free Wi-Fi.
Traditional Japanese luxury with beautiful hot-spring baths awaits guests of Monjusou Shourotei. A free shuttle is availabel from Amanohashidate Train Station, which is also only a 5-minute walk away....

Lots of tourists on holidays but pretty peaceful on normal days. The beach was great but I think they limit the days you can swim. Nice stroll along the sandbar. Amanohashidate is the main thing, there's nothing much to do in Ine aside from taking the boat tour. It's probably best to take the tour that starts from Amanohashidate and goes straight to Ine if you want to save time.
The staff was extremely helpful during the check-in. They helped me book the transport for 2 suitcases which worked perfectly as well as a taxi for the next morning. The breakfast was Japanese style, just as I wanted it. So different from my usual but very good ! I also appreciated the bathing facility, with water just at the right temperature. In the morning very nice path along the water and easy access to the sand bank. Restaurant and supermarket in good walking distance.
The location is good, just a couple minutes drive from the land bridge and from one of the chair lifts that takes you up to see it from the less famous angle. It also has an exceptional shrine next to it which you can enter from the parking lot. This shrine is similar in style to Japan's most important shrine in Ise and I've never seen anything like it outside of Ise. A number of Japanese people were visiting it I noticed.
I love this place so much! If you don't mind staying one train station away from Amanohashidate, this is the best place to go (especially if you're with friends/family. The place is clean, beds are so comfy, and you'll have your own kitchen. We were able to cook our own food. Also, the staff are very polite. It was very easy to communicate with the owner, too.
A short and easy walk to the station and attractions. Waterfront location. And that you could use the onsen and take meals at the adjoining sister hotel. The outdoor seafood BBQ dinner with open bar was great value with a great waterfront vibe. Breakfast on the terrace was good as well.
The room, while small, was recently renovated.
Its a traditional japanese hotel with big rooms and nice seaview. You can find all amenities u need. Carpet was but old though. Location was a bit remote, u will need to drive 15 mins for restaurants or supermarket. The closest mall is mipple in miyazu. U can find some restaurant there for dinner.
Very nice and carring people.
The room was very wide (wider than my appartment in Paris 😅)
The onsen with an outside part is awesome.
You can rent bike for a very small amount for all day.
Final piint, the view on the see from the room, amazing!
The location is quite convenience. the breakfast reached our requirement. The onsen in the 2nd floor, we finish the bath and go to breakfast, so good. Room tidy and clean, seaview is my preference. Everything meet our requirement.
The staff was really friendly and available.
They even spontaneously proposed to help get us to the station
The 4th floor onsen is small but we each get out for ourselves so it was a great experience with a good view of the bay
Best authentic Japanese hotel I have ever stayed. The private open-air onsen is a must-try. The room we stayed has a ocean view as well.
Another plus here is the toilet. It's relatively bigger than other hotels we stayed.
Room is spotless and nicely decorated in a convenient location with many food options nearby in the Miyazu Old Town. Such a quaint location yet with all the necessary creature comforts for a really nice stay!
Breakfast was served on the 3rd floor facing the scenic Amanohashidate sand bar. Combination of Japanese/Western dishes - all good. Seating was well distanced from other guests.
