We had a lovely stay! The staff was extremely helpful and nice, we were driven from and to the Izu Kogen railway station. The room was clean and modern, with a beautiful view on the graden. The hotel is a great starting point for Yogosaki Trail and Mount Omuro. In addition, there is the goodest boy in the hotel - golden retriever Nagi, who is friendly and you can pet him. We totally recommend this place!

Albeit a bit old, Isana is nice and quiet. We had a room with our own onsen on the balcony. Very nice. There is also a large onsen which you can reserve. We were overlook the sea which is a very short walk away. Staff were very helpful. We were fortunate to have Japanese friends who live in Izu and who took us around. Izu is an historical place. It is difficult to stay in Isana if you have no transport. The resort has few meal options, and any shop or restaurant is quiet a distance away.

my dear friends, the view from the window is gorgeous. I just wanted to sit in my room and not go anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and even the not sunny weather did not spoil the impressions.
luxurious dinner in Japanese style. good breakfast - in the room! 👍😃 room so big.
But, better have the car. Without car will dificalt. But you will sleep with ocean view and wake up with sunrise... very polite staff, always ready to help you.

Other than maybe having better weather which is beyond anyones control, we loved our stay and the area. We stuck to mostly nature oriented activities like the Jogasaki coast, the beaches in Shimoda, Kawazu Seven Waterfalls, and Toji Sands. We were thrilled to find an onsen., Akazawa Onsen, right there in Ito that was tattoo friendly!
