They changed the chair to a smaller and more comfortable one. I'm very pleased, I extended the stay. They also responded to my request for a high floor and a nice view room.

We first went to Okura Act City in 1995, so returning was going to be interesting...
But the hotel is excellent, with large rooms, great bathrooms and a good location.
We stayed here as we were catching up with friends that live locally.
This is a top rate western style hotel.

It’s literally 50 metres from the train station but very quiet unless you have the window open and you’ll hear the occasional whoosh of a train passing. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The TV has movies for free so I watched Fast n Furious 10 and Cocaine Bear. The staff were fantastic and breakfast was very filling and high standard. There was an offer of free rice and curry for dinner but we had dinner at a place directly across from the hotel which had baked potatoes, calamari,and some of the best food we’ve enjoyed during our 6 weeks in Japan. I’d stay here a second night just to go back to that restaurant again!
