Great value for money, even though we booked a smoking room, the rooms was so clean and didn’t even smell the smoke in anything, the room was not expensive at all.

Best food on our trip - the host catered two delicious veggie meals for us with an amazing variety of japanese food in a beautiful tatami room. Still dreaming of it! The private onsen was a blast and our tatami room had cute chairs, traditional clothing to wear in the guesthouse and comfortable futons. They picked us up at the train station and drove us directly to the monkey park. Getting back from there by bus was easy. We were also driven to the train station next morning.

Excellent customer service, love the tradition and history of the hotel. Onsen is good as well, this is the perfect experience for a lovely Japanese ryokan onsen. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommended
