Room was relatively big for Japanese standards - we did pay a slight premium for the larger/higher floor room compared to other double rooms in the hotel. There was a little sofa and enough space around it to open our 2 big luggage bags. Great city view as well. Very clean bathroom and room.
I love shopping at Sunshine City so for me the location was perfect - hotel is connected to the mall on most levels. From the mall there is a semi-sheltered walkway to Higashi-Ikebukuro station (about 10mins) and similar distance (although outdoors) to the JR Ikebukuro station. The airport buses to Narita stop at this hotel. Great room size and location relative to hotels around other major tourist spots like Shibuya/Shinjuku. There is a large FamilyMart in the hotel ground floor as well!

The hotel is conveniently located near a train station, which helped connect us to our next accommodation (without lugging our suitcases around the city). Below the hotel there was a Family Mart, which we utilised when we arrived late to the property. We had a wonderful coffee and scone at a neighbouring cafe, called Glitch, which had lovely wait staff and a fresh and modern atmosphere.
