I wasnt there long enough to give a fair impression but the biggest drawback was probably the location - it didnt feel like I was in a town, more on the outskirts- however, on a more positive note, I visited the Toyota car museum, which was excellent

Nice city. Not too busy, but lively. Great izakayas and hotels to relax in. Staying there is a great idea when going to an event at the stadium. Travelling from Nagoya for stadium events is a bit troublesome and very busy/full public transport. So choose Toyota instead.
