Great traditional lifestyle experience in a beautiful valley. Shino san is an amazing host who really makes you feel welcome at his home. Can't recommend it enough unless you are bothered by things that come with old countryside living like cold rooms and manual flushing toilets but to me those were just part of the experience.

The suite was so spacious, and with attire supplied to allow for a full traditional onsen experience, the scene is set for complete immersion in the traditional elegance. The restaurant is exceptional and special at both breakfast and dinner with staff putting on a show of excellent local dishes and ingredients. The host’s performance of a traditional song was gentle and perfect for guests. The onsen experience includes so many options but all of them are stunning and reached by the phenomenal and scenic funicular at the hotel. Oh and the nearby vine bridge is amazing.

We were very happy with the hotel. We had both the breakfast and dinner at the hotel and they were well handled with good food and we were satisfied. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The bath was good and clean.
The hotel is very close to some of the sights and we very much enjoyed staying there.

This tiny house is the perfect quiet romantic get away. We stayed for 2 nights, but I wished it had been longer. The hosts are very kind and the check-in was very efficient. The house is just a picture perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the balcony, the kitchen, the spacious bathroom and the living room. The cherry on top was the bedroom in the loft. For a tiny house it had plenty of space. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything you need. We also used the gas-bbq, which made a very special evening.

Awesome break in isolated beautiful surrounds. Amazing property with ample space and great ambience. Unfortunately it was let down by a couple of details, such as communication with paying for fire wood to use in the advertised fireplaces/cooking grill. Though these were awesome additions to the stay.
Stove was troublesome and the owner did not get back to us on how to resolve.
Missing basic touches like dust pan for cleaning fires and basic cooking: such as salt, tea, coffee. Especially given the isolation of the location
