I didn’t regret for booking 2N here. It’s not cheap but there’s some which are even more expensive… We paid ¥58908 half board ( dinner +breakfast) each night for a couple. They’ve a welcome drink ( apple juice n coffee) daily. There’s a large relaxing room with comfortable chairs for you to admire the garden n ice-creams ( though very small ones) provided n water . We were given 15 min onsen free for couple-room which you can paid for 1-hr usage if you like to spend longer time with your spouse. They’ve gender segregated onsen for hotel guests free. The meals are just heavenly. Staff are helpful n friendly n can speak some English ( very important for non-locals like us who don’t speak n understand Japanese ) Definitely will come back if visiting this place again. Lastly want to thank Tsuta Onsen Ryokan and Booking.com for their alliance together so that I can book confidently without worry ( some ryokans only book via their website n it’s all in Japanese 😅🤣🥹) . Always Booking.com is my FIRST CHOICE in all my booking for hotel stay as they presented the important n relevant information clearly. The room was very nice and cosy, clean, had a nice view to watch the snow falling and to wake up with the natural light. The location is spectacular, the staff was very helpful and patient, the dinner was really nice and had apple mochi.
