It is located in the Gangnam area, which is known because of the Gangnam style. Within 10 10-minute walk, we can access metro number 2 and another line (I forgot the name). In front of the hotel, we can also get on the buses. It is very, very convenient in terms of transportation. The COEX mall is three stations away from the hotel -- we can spend a whole day there shopping and having great food.
There are a few restaurants along the main street. There are also convenience stores (7-11), ice cream, milk tea, and so on along the backstreet, which is on the west side of the hotel.
The facility is very nice, except that the hot water in the bathroom needs some time before it pumps out from the tap. Sometimes I need to wait for one hour, and the hot water suddenly comes. The staff does not know the reason either.
The breakfast is delicious! I really enjoyed it.

The hotel was in a great location. Clean and comfortable generally. I stayed for 2 nights and then returned for 1 night as part of a group after travelling through Korea and we had no issues. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!
Needed to use the laundry services and this was very easy and straight forward to do!

The Westin Seoul Hotel truly surprised me! I knew to expect a lovely hotel considering the Westin name. However the Westin Seoul far exceeded our expectation. It is truly a 5 star property. The historic hotel is stunning! Very clean, modern and elegant. The best part was the staff. All of them! The staff was so gracious, extremely helpful, worked very hard to assure our satisfaction. The breakfast buffet offered multi-culture options. The happy hour might as well be dinner since the buffet was large and offered so many options with nice liqours and wines with a beautiful view of Seoul skyline. Highly recommend and will stay there again.

A vibrant and interesting city with an endless list of things to do! Lots of inexpensive eateries with local and international food, lots of budget food choices at convenience stores, and lots and lots of fun shops or spots like photobooths to take fun group (or single!) pictures. Seoul is an amazing city that mixes the old (north of the Han) and the new (south of the Han).
We managed to visit a lot of places of our interest including museums, palaces, shopping malls and even Lotte World (amusement park).
There is so much to see and do. Taxis (based on 4 travelling) are cheap and a good option to go from places that are far from each other - don't underestimate the time it takes to get from one place to another.
Probably the only consideration is that there are a lot of stairs (including underpasses) and not always lifts so this may affect people with reduced mobility.

We did a quick trip from Japan to Seoul (3 full days) since it was only a 2 1/2 hour flight, why not :) Wish we had more time in Seoul to explore so plan your days according to area/location. Most "to do" are scattered all over Seoul so you will need at least a day in each area/location like Myeondong, Itaewon, Bukchon, Cheonggyecheon to name a few. Each area will take you about 30 minutes by train depending on your home base hotel. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes....Get ready for walking, steps, trains and maybe taxis. For the 3 days we visited the Lotte World area, Coex Aquarium, Starfield Coex Library, N. Seoul Tower, Banpo bridge at night for the rainbow water lights, Gwangjang market for local Korean food stalls, Myeondong shopping district, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and some underground train shopping areas. Food experience anywhere but our favorite was Lotte Department store food level in Myeondong. You MUST visit Olive Young for Korean skin care. WISH we had MORE time but will return.

I thought it might be difficult because I don't speak Korean, but everyone I met was kind and helpful, I they did not speak English they went out of their way to find me someone who did. I saw a lot and really enjoyed the trips I went on and the street markets and just the differences from home. I found the found fresh and healthy.

Wasn’t expecting to feel so relaxed in a city of 10 and a half million people but felt very relaxed
, the transport system is great and cost to eat out is good. I am definitely going back and plan visiting more cities as spent majority of time in Seoul with a couple of days in Busan. Only negatives are the smell of sewage at times and impossible to buy good flat white coffee.
The location was very near the Metro. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were soooo comfy! The hotel was quiet and peaceful. And there’s even a laundry area and a water refilling machine upstairs. The best part of our stay was how Damien accommodated all our requests - he always went the extra mile! Thank you Damien! And also, the airport bus pick up point was very near the hotel. And there’s a convenient store right outside. I would stay here again the next time I go to Korea!
I liked basically everything about this hotel. Location was exceptional, my room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, the bathroom was well thought out (taking a shower didn't make the whole bathroom wet) and I even got a pretty nice view. I have stayed at 4 different hotels during my vacation in South Korea and this one was by far the most enjoyable. Also, kudos to the reception staff as they were very polite and spoke English remarkably well.
Took my two grown sons to experience Seoul. Location was convenient. Five minute walk to Myeongdong Airport Bus Stop, subway station, and Myeongdong. Three beds for much cheaper than a regular hotel. Enough room for three adults to store luggage and move around. Rooftop deck had great views of N Seoul Tower and surrounding area. Not a five star hotel but certainly served our purposes, we enjoyed our five nights and would stay again.
We stayed in this hotel on its opening day. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the most friendly staff. The hotel also smelt amazing. We stayed in a two bed room on the top floor. It was a good size, the beds some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, with a lovely balcony and great views. So well located; by the shops, South Korea gate, palace, train station... I would highly recommend this hotel.
The host was there at the building and helped us check in. Otherwise - I think this is one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Gangnam/Southern Seoul. Conveniently located next to Starfield and one of the main metro stations, it's such a great value for money. It was near the end of our 10 days in Korea so we took advantage of the washing machine as well to wash some of our clothing. Very comfy bed as well.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We tried 3 hotels in Seoul and this is our no.1 choice. The hotel's interior is super chic and huge space. Everything you need is there and more. Truly a luxury 5 star hotel. Every staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities are superb. The location is perfect and the subway station is literally beside it. It is a bit pricey compared to other 5 star hotel, but it's worth it.
The location was great! Everything is near the hotel: subway, restaurants, convenience stores like e-mart, CU, 7/11! You can walk to many places on foot. Its very convenient.
The hotel room is small and cute. I travelled alone but its okay for 2 people too. Everything i needed was in there
The staff also very very nice and friendly and helpful!
Thanks to this hotel i enjoyed ,my trip to South Korea!!!
Very nice and helpful front desk. Room cleaning is everyday, they will change your towels make up room etc. The guards at night are very nice, will help you with luggage etc. It was my first time in Seoul, and I can recommend this hotel to stay. You have subway near, a lot of korean restaurants around, coffes and shops. It is easy to come back to hotel at night (there is night bus stop near).
The location was good there was alot of restaurants surrounding the hotel and my friends and I are big into food! The hotel itself was pretty spacious and the bathroom set up was nice! I had booked two rooms one for my three friends and one for myself and my partner. The bed was cozy and comfortable for me and we all would book here again if we ever get the Chance to go to South Korea again!
We chose this location for last night in Seoul before flying back to Europe and it was a perfect choice.
The hotel is situated by Seoul's subway so it takes just a few minutes to get to Airport Line from hotel. Very comfortable beds, beautiful views. Personnel was nice and friendly, great service, really recommend! Best hotel we stayed at during our South Korea trip.
The location was excellent for a tourist, with a lot of sightseeing and good eateries within walking distance. We also enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffet, especially the Korean food choices. Finally, the hotel personnel were friendly and welcoming, the best we experienced after staying in four different hotels in Korea.
new modern room, nice bathroom with beautiful bathtub, friendly and helpful staffs, and 30 second walk to tube line 9, which will take you to Gangnam in no time. I visit parents in Korea a few times a year and each time I stay two weeks or so. I found this hotel during my visit in Jan and already stayed twice and more to come!
This hotel was great!! The suites were very large and had everything needed. The location was perfect and close to many sites. The gym and pool were nice. The views from our room was nice too. And the staff were friendly. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Korea.
Room size is good and decent. Location wise, it’s near to the subway and airport limousine bus stop. Lots of eateries and a convenience store at the lobby. Self laundry at B3. Nothing to complain about. Will choose to stay at this hotel again should I visit Korea again
It was a great place to stay...near the subway station, near tourist attractions, Changdeokgong Palace, Korea Folk Music Museum etc.
Airport bus also easy to get..about 5 minutes walk.. convenient place to stay..7eleven just a few steps from the hotel..
Location is excellent, room is comfy, modern and clean
Services is beyond 5 star hotel. Love it so much!
The staff is all very nice and speak very goid english. Will definitely back to this hotel if we come to korea.
BEST HOSTEL IN KOREA! SUPER GOOD! HOTEL WITH SUPER GOOD!! treat! they were so good and super safe to leave thing in reception! I love Vietnam m! LOCATION EXTRA GOOD! and good rooms! hot water! good kitchen!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, the room is clean, the staff at the counter are very considerate, and the service is warm. I will choose to stay next time I go to Korea。
location is great for first nights in Korea, as hotel is directly above the subway station from Incheon airport.
breakfast buffet is very good.
beds were comfortable
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and spoke English which was helpful. The bathroom was modern and larger than some other hotels in South Korea.
