People are extremely friendly and helpful, both local people and the people from foreign countries. The country is beyond my imagination, as there are quite a number of things to see and not very touristy.
Please be prepared for a slightly longer time for everything in Kuwait, as things do not work as you are used to in other countries. Examples would be like, luggage claim might take longer time than usual; When you find the post office on google map, the post office might already be closed down permanently; You get a bus ticket on the City Bus app but just to find their system is down when you get on the bus and the driver denies your in-app ticket purchase; Traffic is a bit slow in the city center; The public bus changes way but google map still follows the old way etc etc. To sum it up, it is still in the stage of preparing itself for the tourists, and probably that's why it's less touristy and people are friendlier.

I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait.
I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait. The weather was great (35C) and it was really nice to go to the beaches. Abundant of restaurants and malls. We walked quite alot around the center and explored for example the Kuwait towers, the grand Mosque and the Mubarakia old market. Since most people travel by car its not the easiest place to walk around, but it wasn't a problem. We felt very safe the whole time everywhere we went, everybody was willing to help and nobody is there to scam you.

We loved Kuwait.
We loved Kuwait. The souk was wonderful, the restaurants were great. I'd suggest visiting as many of the highlights as possible. Focus on restaurants that locals frequent versus "cultural" restaurants that are more for tourists. I wish we had a few more days in Kuwait.
Avenues Mall, Fourth Section (the newest section) is a must visit, even for the mall loather. What a mall!

The weather at this time was excellent.
The weather at this time was excellent. The people are very lovely and friendly. Transportation depends on taxis, which are very cheap - no public tram/metro. Mubarakiah Souk, and Alasemh shopping mall are one of the most places you should visit it.

Kuwait people are very kind, supportive & helpful.
Kuwait people are very kind, supportive & helpful. Restaurants are having many cultures to taste, I wish only to look for the roads & streets since it is most of it needs to some maintenance while you are driving your can around the districts of Kuwait.
The stay in the hotel was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a good size and very nice view. The bathroom is for sure not the biggest, but very clean. Staff is also really friendly and helpful. I would totally stay here again, when in Kuwait. I don't understand why this hotel is only rated 7/10. I guess some of the bad reviews here are coming from rather demanding middle-eastern business travellers, who should rather stay in a Marriott or Sheraton hotel (for a much higher price), if they need the luxury.
Excellent staff - competent and superfriendly - thanks to Faizan and Cesar in particular! Also nice and competent hotel manager (what is not always the case). Thus I felt home when coming back after work (stay of 5 daxs). Adequate room size with all you need; small but clean swimming pool in first floor (nice in the morning when the sun shines from east/south east!). Convenient location - very close to al Hambra Tower (2 Min), walking distance to Kuwait Towers and even to the souk and Grand Mosque. Clear recommendation!
We stayed in the junior suite it was beautiful. So big and specious. We went to kuwait to celebrate my 30th birthday and they treated me with a delicious cake.
The hotel was fully booked due to musical concerts so we only got our room after 2 although we arrived at 10, but the staff provided complimentary coffee and tea at the lounge. I found that very thoughtful
The hotel is located at walking distance from the Kuwait Towers and some nice beaches, near bus stops, mini markets and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable, with a very nice view from the window. Moreover the staff helped us going out in the hottest hours of the day by giving us the hotel umbrella. We would certainly recommend this choice.
The hotel is outside of the main touristic sites of Kuwait but is easy to find. Check-in is super fast (just get your visa readily available). My room was huge with a large closet cabinet with hangers. The bathroom is a good-size one. Wi-Fi is excellent so I had no problem uploading pictures and videos onto my blog.
The standout aspect of this hotel was its central location, which made it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests, which added a personal touch to my stay.
Hotel is one of the best in Kuwait and Gulf area , everything is available and excellent , some staff members are trying really to make guests happy especially Ms walid at the reception and Mr Ryas the pool bar restaurant .
Recommend the hotel for others
Location of the Hotel in the Centre of Kuwait city and near to all the famues places ( Kuwait Tower, Mubarakya,Corniche,Opera,Alshaheed Park) also connected to Al Raya Mall and next to Al Hamra Mall, the security checked is excellent.
Amazing hotel! Everything was perfect!New furniture, clean bathroom, quite, amazing staff , they gave us upgrade and late check out!we can't ask for more! I will stay again in it if I will come back to kuwait!
Favorite hotel in Kuwait! Great ambience and excellent customer service. Thanks to Jovelyn, Jessie and Mahendra for warm welcome and smooth checkin process. Always ready to go extra mile for their guests!
