It was beautiful to be on the river and get to eat their lovely breakfasts with a beautiful view. You can order set menus to enjoy there too which we did, was delicious!
Location a bit out of main town but that was good as was quieter and there was free quick transport to town whenever you needed.
The room was large, very comfortable, with traditional decor and big bathroom. Also a kitchenette with full sized fridge!
The resort itself was beautiful with many traditional wooden buildings with paths leading through the well tended grounds. A swimming pool was being made which will be fantastic when finished as the weather was extremely hot and humid in May when we visited.
The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. Zar and the two beautiful sisters from Myanmar, Mo and Grace were particularly helpful, although everyone we met there were delightful.

We stayed here at the end of October and there were very few guests. Amazing, clean accommodation with incredible views to the surrounding mountains. In a quiet part of the city, but still relatively close to the centre. Kind and polite staff, incredible value for the money we paid. High-quality and tasty food at the hotel restaurant and a well-equipped cosy room with a comfortable bed and cute balcony. Well-kept garden and a pool with beautiful views on the city and mountains.

Very large hotel in lovely landscaped grounds on the river. Rooms were clean and great large balcony - we had one with a river view from the gardens which was fab. Met the resident buffalo (rescued by the previous mgr) and swam in the pool. Not many sun loungers but it was quiet when we were there so no issues.
