Viraj was super accommodating with us and made us feel at home straight away. Not only we were arriving quite late but we also had to leave early in the morning and he managed to provide us dinner and breakfast(this last one on the go!), and both were home made and of an outstanding quality! We wished we could have stayed one more night in Badulla!

It’s clean and the whole shebang is professional. Two caretakers there are exceptional. They are very nice and made us to feel like home. We were privileged to stay there on a special day in the Sri Lankan calendar (Sinhala new year). Owner in Colombo who’s on constant touch with the caretakers to make sure all are comfortable. Superb Sri Lankan breakfast. Mamma Mia!!!!. We came here via a word of mouth through our acquaintance in the UK. Definitely we’ll pass the word around about this place among our friends in the UK. The view over the mountains is fabulous. The vegetation, birds, mountain monks chanting some where far, made it a real spiritual return to nature. The journey there through jungle and tea plantations made it a safari adventure. We were alone apart from the lovely staff, which made it a special escape under the starry sky and fire flies dancing in the night.

The location is a bit hard to find but the view is breathtaking. The hostess is very welcoming and helpful. She likes the children very much and care her guests a lot. She did her best to make our stay comfortable, including making nice breakfast with limited supplies due to current circumstances. And the friendly dog Leo keeps children company and happy.
