In terms of location, style, room design, the owner's attention to details, food, staff, organization - this is the best place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. and it’s especially incredible that all this was in a relict forest, where it was obviously much more difficult to organize everything at this high level. The atmosphere of the place and the energy of the people working in this hotel are amazing. Upon arrival, Ice tea was like a friendly gesture, a flower on the table, cool room design, floor-to-ceiling windows, a view of the pond with water lilies in the fog in the morning - indescribable. very very tasty and varied breakfasts and generally very tasty prepared food. the best owner Prasad who's meeting guests like old friend and always in touch and manager of the restaurant Tikiriki, and wonderful women who work for our pleasure. Staff were so friendly and accommodating Location was perfect, next to a waterfall. Yes it’s going to be noisy but when travelling around Sri Lanka, ear plugs should be essential. The host organised jungle treks which were amazing. The room itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. It was lovely to have menus for lunch/dinner and drinks to order from. I will definitely be re-visiting and staying here!

I have only good thoughts when I am thinking about this place. When I arrived I got greeted by Prubad and his wife with a big smile. Even when it was already passed lunchtime they asked me if I wanted lunch after my long trip.The pictures on the site do not really justice. It is a lot nicer. The place is new, the bathroom is super. There is a shower for cold and hot water. Prubad and his wife will do anything to make you feel at home. The first night I just been sitting on the terrace watching the thunderstorm and the fireflies flying around...it was wonderful. They have a small menu where you can choose from for breakfast, lunch and diner because you are in the jungle and there is not much around. You do not need to look for a tourguide, you can do it with them. You have different choices for tours and Prubad knows a lot about nature. I can write here a whole story how good it was but will not do that. Do not hesitate if you want to stay in the rainforest. You will not regret it

A serene space in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by trees & peaceful scenery. You have to cross 2 streams to get to the property, making it a very magical experience. The host was very attentive, going above & beyond for us during our stay. He also took us on a hike in the area, which was one of the best hikes we’ve done. It gives you a true glimpse into rural Sri Lankan life, a highlight of our trip. We also went on a tour of Sinharaja, organised by the host, which was also amazing. We couldn’t recommend this space more.

The location of Dolagawa is magical. There is a river and a small waterfall where you can swim right next to the resort. We went to the Sinharaja Forest and the host arranged a 3-4 hour tour for us which was really nice. The food was good and the staff was welcoming, helpful and super friendly!
