Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a bad experience at a property so left and booked this last minute, they knew this and gave us cold towels and brought fresh juice to our room.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen (technical) circumstances, our booking for a 1-night stay on 16/3 (when we first arrived in Negombo to start our 15-day trip in a tuktuk) was cancelled upon arrival.
We thus could not spend the night @ Ziegler Cottage, but the owner did all he could to find an alternative accommodation for us, that's why I think he deserves a positive feedback.

I’ve been to this property before and what brought me back is the location and the pleasantness experienced before .
I think the management has changed since and the property is showing few parts wear and tear especially in the common areas . But the staff remains lovely . We came in pretty late in the evening and the manager had informed the staff well and check in was a breeze .
