It definitely lived up to our expectations. The room was really nice- I’d strongly encourage you to spend the extra money to get a river view and balcony. We loved watching the elephants from our room. The restaurant staff were so lovely. Breakfast with the elephants was a once in a lifetime experience.

In front of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you can park the vehicle in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful I actually forgot his name one of the staff ( a small guy) was very helpful.
The host was also very friendly and a great value for our money.the room and Bathroom was very clean.
