Stand-out experience was the boat tour (right from the dock) to the grove of trees on the opposite shore where you can see flying foxes, egrets, herons, ibis, indian darters, parrots, pelicans and crocodiles. The profusion of wildlife is incredible. Go just before sunset.

We loved Hotel River Front, the staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Great location and very close to Yala National Park. We booked a full day safari through the hotel which was fantastic and a really great price. They provided us with plenty of tasty food and drinks for the safari and we got to see leopards and lots of other animals. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Staff are very welcoming and friendly here! The hotel is situated in a beautiful garden, with a stunning pool area. Rooms very comfortable and clean. They also have a lovely restaurant area for breakfast and dinner. A short 10 minute walk into town. We will be sad to leave!
