The huge, well maintained and daily cleaned pool was an absolute treat and pleasure to use, especially as it gets so hot during the day. The owner and his daughter were super kind and helpful and know all about the ancient sites and mystical history of Anuradhapura. I guess it depends on the purpose of your visit really, for us it suited our purposes of what we wanted to achieve in the area and that was following our Buddhist faith. The hotel was good, the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a typical Sri Lankan one, we had an evening meal at a reasonable cost and the food was good.
