The peacocks and the other animals are around you in their normal habitat making it a great experience as well as the breakfast is served in a massive floating platter. The Hotel is a coconut estate , with two cottages, each cottage has two rooms on the upper floor. the ground floor is the pantry and dinning area. has a small but comfortable pool. The property itself is about 6km from the main road. Its so Isolated the aptly named the hideout. no vehical noices you only hear the birds. The caretaker and his wife were very friendly and made breakfast just way we liked. I would defintly go for another unforgettable stay.

Everything was amazing. It's on a hilltop and you're just surrounded with greenery. We got the whole villa to ourselves.Care taker was available and you could tell him if you want breakfast ,lunch or dinner. Definitely a home away from home. Has full kitchen, washing machine, wifi , tv and amazing views.There is nothing around the stay so advisable to buy something on the way when you're coming back from sightseeing.

Of the 9 places I have stayed in Sri Lanka, this had the best facilities. Smart bedding and towels, working TV, bar fridge and wifi; good hot water supply. Pleasant outlook from balcony, including toque macaque monkeys playing on wires not far away. Close to main street but only train noise noticed. Owner keen to assist. Comfortable lounge chairs and small dining table. Very clean modern bathroom. Only a 350 rupee ride to the fabulous Myula Restaurant/Bar with its sensational views and great food. Exemplary.
