Wonderful colonial style hotel on the bank of the river away from the town. Very peaceful and calm. The ambiance and decor of the main reception and lounge area was excellent. Large pool with plenty sun beds. The chalet was well appointed, with lots of thought going into the small details. The bed was very comfortable and the "open air" toilet / shower area was quite unique. We had dinner in the evening which was a set meal. We used the "free" kayaks to explore down river to the beach which was very enjoyable. They also have free bikes available.... In summary, it's such a wonderful place that I just wish we had stayed longer, so relaxing. Ideal for the beginning and end of your trip, as it's not too far from the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

At check-in we were given a welcome drink and a chilled facewipe which was badly needed after a long journey in the heat. Within walking distance of lots of little shops and restaurants. Good area to stay on the last night as so close to airport.
