My room at this lodge included a bed, bathroom, and kitchen facility, all impeccably clean, with lots of natural light and stunning views of the surrounding area. The kitchen is well-equipped, the space very functional, and also a great place to work if you need to.
Breakfast is included with the stay. There is a restaurant and lounge, and the food is quite good. Very appealing is the variety of different accommodation options, so your stay here could really vary, although all options look sharp from the outside. The terrain of the hotel is also quite expansive and worth exploring.
If you have time, take a walk down to the river or other walks that the owner could recommend. You can get homemade brandy here that is excellent quality.

The directions to the Lodge were very misleading. It said Bokong district which, according to my map, is on the south side of Katse Dam. We arrived in the dark because of the SHOCKING road from Thaba Tseka to Katse, and couldnt find the lodge. Found a guard who kindly phoned the lodge for us (we had no comms) to find our how to get there. Another 50kms to travel, taking an hour. Eventually arrived at 9pm. The staff were very good and we were able to have dinner.
Chocks Guest House is located in Lejone and offers a garden and a bar. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is situated 48 km from Katse Dam.
