Excellent price and performance - the hotel is well maintained and clean, even though it has been open for a while. Rooms are clean and comfy. Location might be a bit far from the city center, but that wasn't a problem as we travelled by car. Anyway, there's loads of public transport options to move around. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, not too many options to pick from, but enough to get ready for the day. Super quick coffee machines ensured no queuing for coffee. Overall it was a great experience and the hotel definitely exceeded our expectations considering the price. Location right next to the port might be an issue for light sleepers, as some noise creeps through the windows, but the location itself is excellent if you're planning to use the ferries which are just 3mins away. The free parking is large and you'll always find a spot, unless there's a big event in the conference hall, which is temporary anyway :)

The weather is soo good. They have beautiful places to visit (Zoo, gardens, attraction sites, beaches, etc)
There is this particular restaurant we enjoyed most (for Chinese food lovers) *Jing Binlou* 10/10 I totally recommend.
On the contrary, those from Vilnius can’t use their bus cards in Klaipeda. We needed a new bus card.

Great port town with a large estuary/lagoon harbour and wonderful beaches on the amazingly long coastal Curonian Spit and Curonian Lagoon – Klaipėda is at the northern tip. There's plenty of interesting history and architecture in the center, and short ferry rides across the channel to the forested Curonian Spit for beaches, long walks, cycle rides or tramping, as well as the same (without the Spit) north of Klaipėda. Palanga, just 30 - 40 minutes north is also interesting, with forest belt and beaches along the coast and a spa facility nearby (be prepared for large crowds during the summer holidays). Plenty of shopping malls and beautiful parks in Klaipėda too, and the council is adding more improvements/facilities constantly.

Best time to visit is during summer and early autumn while temperatures are warmer. Cash and visa/mastercards are accepted widely. Bring any kind of jacket and umbrella because it's coastal city.

Klaipeda is nice beautiful town that has a very interesting combination of architectural styles in it: at one point, you see an old building of around 19th century and then you turn around and see a port with huge modern constructions. Air there is fantastic: you literally brief the sea. The greatest part was that it took less than an hour to get to the Courish spit whose sea side and sand dunes cannot leave you unimpressed!

Klaipeda is a wonderful port, beach, resort and vacation city. Here you can find entertainment for every taste - bars, coffee houses, parks, beaches, promenades, sculptures and interesting architecture with a German taste. You can go to the Curonian Spit, where you can get lost on the endless beach, visit interesting museums, walk through the forests, have a barbecue, and also appreciate the beauty of the sand dunes by going on a trip along the winding eco-trails. It remains only to follow the vagaries of the weather and not to lose the excellent mood.

OK, so the list of options to select is too limiting when it comes to visiting Klaipeda region and the possibilities of what to do.
I first visited Klaipeda in 2005 and I have to say as someone who loves travel, nature, restaurants, wine and cocktail bars, café culture, art. Klaipeda Has come so so far.
There is something to do for everyone. I used to cycle a lot; there are kilometers of cycle and hiking routes through some fantastic bio-diverse forests.
I once saw thousands of swans on the Curonian water channel.
Beautiful sandy beaches that stretch for kilometers.
A wonderful outdoor, free, sculpture park that you could spend the afternoon in, surrounded by trees, in the middle of the city.
So much to do here. Love it.
it is my second visit to National hotel. Hotel that is at the very center of Klaipėda.
Staff was helpfull and nice. Whatever we asked, they were able to answer and explain.
Room: one at third floor with really big step to enter (and friendly note: Mind the step). Everything was good and nice, as we expected. Sometimes sound isolation seemed not so perfect, but this was really minor thing.
Breakfast is an example of what breakfast at 4* hotel should look like.
in short - I enjoyed everything and if possible, will return next time.
Place is located at city centre and it were easy to reach all areas I was planning to see/visit. Apartment was extremely clean and tidy. It was lovely to find coffee, all kitchen supplies and even laundry cleaning supplies. It for sure surprised me allot.
For the owners keep it up with an excellent work.
As I spend only few days in Lithuania during the year, for sure will come back next year may at summer time to stay at this area for a longer time. And definitely will recommend it to my fellow travelers as well.
We stayed here not for the first time, but this time we took "Sea view" room which is way bigger than classic one and even has a couch in it and the view is really nice.
We always stay at this hotel in Klaipeda because of it's location which is spot-on - you can reach all the main old town places on foot while your car is safely parked in the secured parking lot.
Breakfast are also great and various from many savory choices to sweet pancakes and so on.
Really recommend for this price/quality ratio.
Was a great location, on the edge of the Old Town, making access to many sights convenient. A nice atmosphere. A small room/unit with spacious bathroom. Small but quite acceptable kitchen (no microwave). Seating lounge, Wi-Fi, all good, and natural light from the windows. Restaurants (Etno Dvaras) near by for Lithuanian food, Iki supermarket down the road, the castle museum across the road, and social history museum two streets back. Helpful hosts although never saw them.
One of the best places we stayed so far! The hosts were very accommodating and made every effort to give us a great time. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and functional. The beds were comfortable and the property itself is quite spacious with a large courtyard for my child to run around and play. The beach is quite near as well, about 5 to 10 min walk. All in all, perfect!
Great Hotel in Klaipeda not that far away of the old town. Spacious studio apartment with all you may need, Integrated AirCon does its job quietly. By far best Hotel in Klaipeda city. Breakfast is the real hit with nuggets, chicken wings and real scrambled eggs with ham slices. Caffee is gorgeous as everything else.
The rooms are Ibis style. Location is very good for going to Curonian Split. The new ferry terminal is located next to the hotel and you might see it from a corridor or a room window. Free parking. Going to city center will require a 5-10 minutes car ride. Good breakfast. Good value for your money overall.
Iconic hotel with its exterior in Klaipeda. Right on the old town, stuning view to the port and lagoon from 4th floor. Room was comfortable and new, calm hotel on no season time; nice receptionists; simple, but good breakfast. Hotel had everything for short stay in Klaipeda.
Very friendly staff, fair breakfast. It was very easy and fast to get to the room. In general, the hotel was a good cost-benefit + it has free parking. Also recommended for those who goes to the Klaipeda Arena, as it's 3 minutes walking from there.
Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Difficult to find, far from Klaipeda, Very strage surroundings, but such a great place to have rest and relax after a busy day. Really pleased with hotel. One of the best outside town places to stay overnight.
Breakfast was ok, although bread was missing for some moments. Room and bathroom was ok for the money. Administrator explained in detail where to park my car when hotel's parking lot was fully occupied by other hotel guests.
Super spacious apartment in an excellent location! Literally in the very center of the city with views of Meridianas from the windows and best cafes in town just across the road. Definitely superb for exploring Klaipėda.
Decent business hotel in a good position for meetings in and around Klaipeda.
Comfy lounge area.
Decent breakfast.
No parking of own, but plenty of spaces nearby and easily paid for on UniPark app.
Smart and nicely organized apartments, making use of the small space in the best way
Clean and comfortable
Great location, it was quiet even on New Years night
Easy Check in and check out
The breakfast was the best we've had in Lithuania and a total bargain for an extra 3eur for both of us. The bed was comfy and everything was super clean.
