The location couldn’t be better, half a block from the main pedestrian street but still in a calm and quiet backyard. Free parking right outside the hotel front door in a European city of this size is amazing service. Very friendly reception, flawless rooms, good breakfast. Spacious room with plenty of space to store stuff. The bathroom was also a decent size. Our room had one completely glass wall opening out onto a balcony and a lovely view of a church. The whole hotel had a lovely airy layout. The location was great for the town square and restaurants (less so for public transport).

There's an upscale hotel in Vilnius called Pacai - it's built in a restored 17th century mansion and is one of the best hotels in Lithuania. Berman House is an economy version of hotel Pacai - it has a very similar vibe with some exposed brick walls reminiscing of the building's past, it also has this modern touch everywhere you look but at the same time you cannot help but feel like a time traveller. It cozy, but feels pretty luxurious. Great location, clean rooms and a sense of luxury for the fraction of the price.

The restaurant is located at underground level and possibly underneath of other building. Quality of breakfast is great with wide selection available, including my favorite tuna salad with pickled onion strips, sun dried tomatoes and a sweet corn, all treated with splashes of Heinz light Mayo strokes. Do not forget a slim slice of Rye seeds bread.
